"the apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. A kitchenette forms part of the apartment. Massimo the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is only a few minutes walk from the historical centre. The only downside that we were at the second floor and there is no lift. A big plus Massimo's father runs the shop next door to the apartments and he is there from very early in the morning till late in the evening. "

"From entering the hotel we had the friendliest of welcomes from both Francesca and Erik. The room was everything we could have asked for in terms of comfort and cleanliness, a real luxury feel. We regret we were only able to spend one night and would absolutely make this our hotel of choice if we return. A further mention goes to the extensive breakfast where everything was presented perfectly and nothing was too much trouble for the team. "Unusual hotel that would have been amazing back in the day but now needs a lot of TLC however the rooms were clean but furniture a bit tatty. I would not consider it a 4 star hotel It would benefit from tea making facilities in the room and abolishing the single use shower gel which are so not good for the environment. It would also be nice to have a bench or table outside the room as the bar/ cafe area is not v inviting. The pool was lovely and we often had it to ourselves but needed a bit of a clean round the edges We ate in the restaurant once, the pasta was good but my spaghetti was dry and hard. This was disappointing considering it was our most expensive meal. There are however lovely local family run restaurants in the local towns only a few minutes drive away Breakfast was simple but nice. We did not have time to use the spa We enjoyed our stay despite the above but it is a bit quirky and certainly needs a lot of updating."
