"The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to return!"

Fantastic breakfast and hospitality (our host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed). Great to have a place to park off the street too. "Fabulous stay in a comfortable and tasteful modern room. Peaceful location, superb breakfast. The only problem we had was that the hotel charged us for the room, even though we had already paid on the app, but I am sure this will be resolved… I’ve always found hotels.com service to be excellent!"

"Le Petit Volcan is at the top of hillside village of Montpeyroux. Access is along narrow steep one way streets, the last of which has a sign restricting access, but we just followed the GPS right to the entrance gate. The owner greeted us and showed us the parking (unloaded the suitcases right by the door to our room) and after showing us our room (accommodation was perfect) showed us how to get to the two nearby restaurants. Zen was good! Great breakfast and again welcoming hosts."
