"I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable, clean and kept. I had a great view of Lake Bemidji but unfortunately it rained most of the time I was there but the view was amazing when the rain cleared. People were very friendly and bars turned out to be a local hangout for people in the area which added a homey feel. I don’t frequent bars but theirs were welcoming. Everyone was very friendly. The only negative was the breakfast, though it came with the room fee, it was a bit weak on the edible side. Seemed to be tailored for kids. I didn’t get to use the pool facility but it was located separately which is likely good from a noise standpoint. They have an amazing gift shop in the lobby with what looked to be high quality items for sale. I would stay again if ever in the area."

"Very nice stay. Good breakfast and so helpful to have a microwave and minifridge in the room. Excellent pillows. Only complaint is the road/traffic noises as it is right along a highway, but nothing a pair of earplug can't handle."

"The rooms were beautiful and spacious and my entire family loved everything! Located right at the North Entrance of the park and close to everything we wanted to do! My son’s favorite part was the ice cream parlor and gift shop right next to the room! Can’t say enough nice things about the property or the owners and staff and will be recommending Big Timbers to everyone!"
