Located in the scenic village of Maboge near La Roche-en-Ardenne, this spacious holiday home is perfect for large groups or family reunions. Just 4 km from the town center, guests can explore the medieval Château Féodal, kayak on the Ourthe River, or relax at Maboge Beach, a natural swimming spot surrounded by forest. The Battle of the Ardennes Museum and Barrage de Nisramont offer rich history and outdoor adventure.

The villa spans three floors and features 11 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a walk-through room and multiple sofa beds. Entertainment is plentiful with a playroom equipped with a game console, table football, and billiards, and a relaxation area with a sauna and jet stream. The large kitchen and dining room with fireplace make group meals easy, while the bar adds a festive touch. Outdoors, enjoy a private garden, roofed terrace, barbecue, and ample parking.

We had a fantastic time at the Quaint Holiday Home in Maboge! The space was perfect for our large group, The sauna and bubble bath were great for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful Ardennes, Plus, the nearby Feudal Castle is a must-visit!

(Francais en bas) De locatie van de gite is top, er is veel ruimte binnen en buiten. En fijn dat alle kamers een eigen badkamer hebben. Enkel is de staat van het huis, de keuken en het terras niet ok. Het wordt niet goed onderhouden waardoor er veel stuk is of zwaar verouderd is. Zoals de afwasmachine, de kickertafel, de doucheschermen zijn fout gebouwd waardoor de hele badkamer onderloopt, De BBQ was super vuil, veel buitenstoelen zijn stuk,... En heel veel andere zaken die een verloederde indruk geven. Wel wat teleurstellend. De ontvangst was ook niet vriendelijk. Het huis heeft nochtans veel potentieel als ze het zouden onderhouden. L'emplacement du gîte est idéal, il y a beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Et c'est bien que toutes les chambres aient leur propre salle de bain. Seul l'état de la maison, de la cuisine et de la terrasse n'est pas correct. Il n'est pas correctement entretenu, ce qui signifie que de nombreuses choses sont cassées ou très obsolètes. Comme le lave-vaisselle, le baby-foot, les parois de douche sont mal construites, ce qui provoque l'inondation de toute la salle de bain, le barbecue était super sale, de nombreuses chaises d'extérieur sont cassées,... Et bien d'autres choses qui donnent une impression de délabrement. Eh bien, un peu décevant. L'accueil n'était pas non plus amical. Cependant, la maison a beaucoup de potentiel s'ils l'entretiennent.

Wunderschöne Lage an der Ourthe. Erheblicher Wartungsaufwand. Man sieht an allem, dass keine Investition getätigt wurde (keine Kinderspielgeräte draußen, Grünablagerungen, Betonterrasse (des ehemaligen Cafés), kaputte Stühle, halb funktionierende Gasbrenner, undichter Wasserhahn usw.) Wir hatten schönes Wetter, Wir verbrachten viel Zeit draußen und deshalb hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Schade, dass es (noch) nicht renoviert wurde. Dann wäre es ein fantastischer Standort!

Grand gîte très agréable pour 30 personnes, et bien situé

Le gîte est grand, 12 chambres avec salles de bains + différentes pièces communes, de jeux, bar... Certaines chambres au 2ème étage n'ont pas de velux (difficile de dormir avec la lumière). La cuisine est bien équipée, appareils professionnels. L'intérieur du gîte était propre mais pas les abords. Il y a une grande terrasse et une pelouse le long de l'Ourthe. Il n'est pas indiqué clairement que c'est une propriété privée et nous avons eu de nombreuses visites ou "incursions". Un grand parking juste en face permet de garer les voitures. La procédure pour avoir le décompte des charges et le remboursement de la garantie a été très longue et les contacts avec l'intermédiaire n'ont pas été très amicaux.

Mooie locatie, gezellig huis maar heel erg verouderd met veel mankementen. Enkel glas en alle chauffages worden dichtgedraaid tot net voor aankomst van de huurders zodat het er erg koud is en alle verwarmingskosten op de huurders vallen(werkt met conteurs). Het duurt bijna twee dagen voor het er wat warm is vooral in de slaapkamers en badkamers. Houtkachel werkt niet, bij de open haard heb je soms een terugslag waardoor heel de kamer onder de rook zit. Ook gasvuur en oven werken niet naar behoren. Sauna werkt wel goed. Veel plaats ook in de keuken.

Het is een fantastische plek aan een mooi riviertje van waaraf heerlijk gewandeld kan worden. Het huis is groot en voorzien van alle benodigde meubilair en sanitair. Wij gaan elk jaar met de hele fam. een weekend weg. En ook voor kleine kinderen is er genoeg ruimte om te spelen. Ook het grote terras is een heerlijke plek om buiten te zitten aan het water. De dorpjes in de omgeving zijn zeker een bezoek waardig. Een heerlijk huis om nogmaals naar terug te keren met een zeer behulpzame verhuurder.

dit was 1 van de minste huizen waar we al verbleven hebben . zetels in de living waar poten afgebroken waren en die met bakstenen ondersteund werden. heel veel losse klinken van de deuren schimmel in sommige badkamers. Geen wifi of bereik in het huis. de keuken liet ook de wensen over .Vuile oven's , pannen die niet meer bruikbaar maken. de gordijnen in de living die niet dicht konden , dus de mensen die passeerden konden binnen kijken in de woning.Sauna die niet bruikbaar was door een irritante geur erin. De biljart die volledig onbruikbaar is. Moet ik nog even doorgaan??? Er is heel wat opknapwerk aan het huis te verrichten.

De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk en bereidwillig. Het huis is groot genoeg voor 25 personen. Jammer dat er het niet volledig in orde was. De BBq werkte niet , de keuken en het keukengerei was niet optimaal en niet proper. De stoelen zijn versleten, de matrassen zakken door. Eigenlijk echt jammer want voor de locatie en het huis op zich zouden we terug komen, maar dan moet er dringend gerenoveerd worden. ik hoop dat de eigenaars dit zeker doen, want het is daar toekomstig juweeltje.

Het contact met HomeAway en Belvilla verliep zeer chaotisch. Het afgesproken bedlinnen was niet aanwezig.De mails naar HomeAway en Belvilla werden niet beantwoord. Telefonisch contact met deze agentschappen was niet mogelijk. Altijd (20-30 x geprobeerd!!) "u wordt dadelijk doorverbonden". Zeer vervelend.

Het huis biedt ruim voldoende plaats voor een grote groep met kinderen. Doordat er verschillende grote ruimtes zijn is er voldoende plaats om de kinderen te laten spelen zonder dat het een te drukke boel wordt. Het huis is netjes met een zeer grote keuken. De inrichting is nog altijd origineel en kan hier en daar wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. De buitenruimte aan het huis beperkt zich tot het (ruime) terras. Aan de overzijde van de rivier is er wel een speelweide.
