Really far out of town, not much in the way of shops or placrs to eat. That left us hotel only facilities. These were nice.

Had to find a night’s accommodation in Leon before an early train. The Colonial Palce was 10 minutes walk from the station, took my bags at 10am and put them in my room when available, checked me in then and when I got back at 7pm couldn’t be more helpful. I have poor Spanish but Eva had excellent English and was very clear about how to get out of the hotel early the next morning. Plenty of free parking, lovely restaurant/bar on site, but poor wifi.

Everything was great ...the room was modern and very clean, a decent size. Well located and parking very close. Laura on the reception was so sweet and helpful. A delight.! Leon is a small wonderful city, the food very good ,very possibly our favorite city across Espana.

What an amazing stay in such an authentic place. It location unsurpassed. Steeped in history. The staff were mired in than helpful and were able to assist. Breakfast was beautiful present with an array of foods and beverages. An unforgettable stay.

Nice apartment in a quiet area with parking outside. 15 minutes walk to the cathedral. Big supermarket nearby. Kitchen had adequate equipment but you had to pay €5 a night to use it. There was no plug for the sink and we had to buy a sponge/scourer and tea towel. We had a 3 night stay.

This hotel is located in the historic part of Leon and it ‘feels’ like you’re intruding driving in! A bit complicated to get there but they sent us very clear instructions thankfully. Parking was great! Room was big and clean. My only little issue was they need mattress protectors on the twin beds. I always feel like mattress protectors make it feel cleaner. It was a well appointed property. Well stocked cupboards and fresh bread and croissants the following day. A pleasure to stay there. A little noisy after dark, in the early hours, however nothing that good earplugs can’t sort.
