"Beautiful resort, friendly staff, very nice room with a view"

"Book because you want Remote, secluded location, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, casual, quiet, almost local feel. Small resort, but decent amenities including beach cabanas, 2 small pools, gym, snorkeling and kayaking equipment. Rooms look right out over the sea of Cortez. Clean and comfortable. Staff is young and gracious. Can arrange adventures, but you have to ask (none of the sales push of some large resorts) If you’re looking for poolside party or service, super posh options, see and be seen scene, bar scene, or a lot of variety might not be your place. Came with my mother for semi- annual get sunshine trip in Mexico trip. Causal and she loved it. "

"The condo was very comfortable, and well outfitted. The views are beautiful looking out over the pool to the ocean, and the walk to the beach was easy, about 15 minutes. The heated pool is terrific - we swam daily after exploring the town, Santiago, snorkelling at Cabo Pulmo and hiking at Cañon de la Zorra. La Ribera is a quiet and lovely town with lots of options for purchasing provisions at smaller mercados and the fruteria, and for dining. Everyone we met was warm and friendly and we felt very welcome. We hope to return soon. "
