"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When visiting Cartagena, we completely fell in love with the city and decided to extend our stay for three nights in the beautiful Old Town near the waterfront. Choosing the AC Hotel Cartagena by Marriott Bonvoy was one of the very best decisions of our trip. From the moment we entered the lobby, it was clear that this hotel was thoughtfully designed for both comfort and tranquility. The interiors are elegant and understated, with beautiful neutral tones, richly textured wallpaper, contemporary furnishings, and soothing décor that immediately creates a sense of calm. Our room featured luxurious down pillows, a high-quality orthopedic mattress, premium linens, and one of the most restful nights of sleep we’ve had while traveling. The spacious bathroom was beautifully appointed, adding to the feeling of understated luxury. Perhaps most impressive was how remarkably quiet the hotel is. Despite being located in the heart of Cartagena’s historic Old Town—within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, the marina, museums, plazas, and countless attractions—our room was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service we received from Ramón. From the moment we arrived, he anticipated every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. When we asked about upgrading our room, he found us a wonderful room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea."

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. Cartagena is full of history and truly amazing to explore. Even if you arrive in the evening, don’t miss a walk through the old town all the way to the Roman Theatre of Cartagena — it’s especially atmospheric at that time of day."

They were out and about most of the time but come meal times you had to judge a time to have lunch and dinner before the children arrived.
