Incredible stay, perfect for a long weekend getaway
I hosted a yoga retreat at the lodge and we can't say enough good things about the space. It's perfectly located close to town for ease of access, but tucked away in the quiet surroundings of nature where we felt like we'd been transported. I can't wait to come back and stay again.
Our lodge experience was truly remarkable. We were in search of a destination for our annual staff retreat and stumbled upon this incredible location. The host was fantastic to communicate with, and the house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and more! It was clean, modern, and cozy. The property offered wonderful hiking trails around the lake, and we had a great time using the kayak and small boat on the water. Can’t wait to book our next trip!
We had an absolutely incredible time here. The house has some of the best amenities, double oven, double dishwashers, large dining table, space for everyone. We will gladly stay here again.
Great property, private location, had a great time!
Had a great time at this property. 16 adults were all comfortable and the home had plenty of space for all of us. Each room had its own bath as well. Loved the private drive in. Sauna and hot tubs were nice. Would certainly stay here again!
So perfect for our big family! Loved the many bedrooms with bathrooms. We had a big snow storm and had a dreamy cozy retreat

The Lodge is beautiful!
The lodge was amazing! We had a couple feet of snow and driving to the lodge on the snow packed gravel road was quite easy. It was plowed and well sanded. We hope to stay there again!

Staff Retreat
This is our 2nd year hosting our staff retreat at the Lodge. This location and facility is perfect for rest, relaxation and fellowship. The space is amazing and the property has so much to offer. Highly recommend for big groups.
12 of us, 3 generations, spent 5 days in this gorgeous property. It couldn't have been more peaceful, and restful. The lodge is extremely well-built and kept cool and comfortable despite a record-breaking heat wave.

Loved it!
This place is amazing- even more beautiful than the pictures. Super clean, had everything you would need for a large group, the location is pure beauty. Nine of us stayed in the lodge and had more than enough space. Can’t wait to go back - we want to do more hikes in the area.
Big spaces, comfy beds & en suite baths, great sound system, and a table to fit all 17 of us -- lovely lake trail, proximity to gorgeous waterfall hike, and not far from town if we needed anything we'd forgotten. Hosts were so easy to work with -- we had a wonderful time, highly recommend!

The absolute BEST Weekend
We had a phenomenal stay! It was the perfect winter wonderland - we snowshoed, hot tubbed, sat in the sauna, had a roaring fire all weekend - all while watching it snow 8 inches! Made it Bachelor for an epic ski day and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Hawkeye and Huckleberry Lounge. The hosts were excellent and the grounds crew ensured we could come and go safely. I can’t recommend a better spot for a group getaway! We will be back!
We had 12 directors stay here for a work retreat and were so impressed by the beauty and amenities provided. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with great appliances, cookware, and everything needed to have multiple lovely feasts. Truly, truly wonderful. 10/10 recommend, and I dream of the day I can come back.

Staff Retreat
We were looking for a private place to do our staff retreat and came across the Lodge at Tumalo Lake. The Lodge was absolutely perfect. The team had an amazing time. We hope to use this space in the future again.
We came to tumelo lodge for a thanksgiving family weekend and had the greatest time. Lodge is a giant space for our giant family. Having a bathroom in each room was amazing and the kitchen space is more the stocked ! Two hot tubs and access to sauna was what made another this house really over the top. Great space would definitely go again

What an amazing property
We had a large family group and stayed at the Lodge as well as the hillside and creek side cabins. The owners were awesome and the entire property is so peaceful and beautiful. The sauna was incredible as were the ample supply of hot tubs! This was the perfect venue for our group. Each bedroom had its own dedicated bathroom which was a lifesaver. I highly recommend this property to everyone!!!

Amazing Experience and Property
My coaching staff and I stayed for 6 days and our collective experience was second to none. Clean, beautiful, well supplied, easy access, safe, secure and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed cooking together, kayaking on the lake, hiking to the waterfalls, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Everyone had privacy when desired and the common areas allowed us to really enjoy our time together. We will definitely be staying here again in 2025.
Lodge was well stocked in the kitchen and overall gorgeous property!! Great space for big groups to chat, eat, etc. Having two hot tubs was also awesome. Made it so everyone could comfortably tub at the same time. Sauna was not not though, maxs out at like 90 degrees which is kind of like a hot room… also not a ton of extra linens or pillows around. Communication from owner was prompt and helpful, overall easy check-in/check out experience. Location is up some gravel roads, not an issue really just more of a heads up. Would recommend this listing to others for sure!!

Family Reunion
The Tumalo Lake Lodge is awesome!
Our family of 19 celebrated our third yearly family reunion. We were ages 5-73.
Absolutely ALL of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there. There is hiking, running, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, hot tub, sauna to enjoy and lots of room indoors to enjoy.
Thanks for a very memorable reunion!

Perfect setting for a "pause and reset" with old friends!
We were eight retired couples looking to reminisce and relax and enjoy food and drink together... The Lodge absolutely surpassed our expectations in every way.
First of all, Tracy was always available for questions and responded with accuracy and kindness. She was amazing.
The Lodge itself was a work of art, clean in every way; over equipped with all you could ask for. This is the place for a family gathering or get away for a crowd.
The Setting in the forest with the lake and canoes, kayaks ...well need I say more. We will be back. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

Awesome Place for Our Family Reunion
For the second year in a row, we chose the Lodge at Tumalo Lake for our reunion. This year we had 27 people (22 adults and 5 kids 11 and under), so we also rented the Lakeside East cabin. The rule was, though, that the cabin was only for sleeping. All the reunioning (yes, that is a word...contrary to what some relatives thought) was at the Lodge.
The Lodge is very well equipped to handle meals for 27 people. There are plenty of dishes, mugs, cups, silverware, etc. With double ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers it was easy to prepare meals and clean up. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom.
Last year, we were there in April. The lake was frozen over and there was snow on the ground. The kids enjoyed sledding and the adults enjoyed hiking. Everyone enjoyed sitting by the fire.
This year we were there over Memorial Day. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the lake, hiking and hanging out...and eating! There were lots of ducks and ducklings to watch, which delighted the little kids.
We have no complaints. Tracy and Bill were easy to work with. We met Bill in person one day and enjoyed hearing the history of the resort. We will for sure be back!
This is an extraordinarily beautiful location, a bit of a drive on a gravel road to get there, but worth it. Only one ADU shower but all bathrooms are lovely. Bill and Tracy are great to work with and were attentive. Cell service is poor but WiFi worked pretty well. Well appointed kitchen, lots of lake toys (canoes, row boat, stand up board). We will be back!
