Tucked Away - Seaside Home in Anstruther, Sleeps 6
10/10 Excellent
"Tucked Away was the kickoff of our Scottish vacation. It was perfect! Clean, modern, great location. My family loved it! Description online was spot on. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities for self catering & place was spacious enough for the 4 of us. Recommendations for restaurants & activities were also great. Thank you to Thomas for quick communication with checking in. Everything was great! Highly recommend!"
Dolphin Cottage- traditional cottage on Fife Coast
8/10 Good
"Lovely quaint old cottage close to the beach and harbour. It’s in a great location with lovely views over the Dreel burn and beach. The open plan living/dining room is bright, spacious and comfortable. The cottage is well provisioned with plenty crockery and kitchenware, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. It has a quirky layout with bedrooms on the ground floor and the living spaces upstairs. This affords the property with nice views towards the beach. The beds were pretty comfortable, although a few new pillows would definitely be a bonus. Plenty drawer and wardrobe space in both bedrooms. We had plenty towels, bedding etc and the heating and shower were good so we were cosy during our stay. The only negative point is that the cottage would benefit from a deep clean. It was generally clean on all the surfaces and in the kitchen and bathroom so we had no issues with it but I am guessing that the owner or some guests might have dogs. We were aware of a slight doggy aroma coming from the carpets and soft furnishings. It was a minor thing though and didn’t bother us. The parking was a bit challenging during our stay because the carpark at the esplanade was fenced off by Scottish Water for upgrade works. The cottage is on a narrow street so we had to park away from the property. It wasn’t a problem as we didn’t need the car much so we unloaded our bags on arrival and parked in a public carpark about 5mins walk away. Overall, we had a great stay and would book again"
"This is a beautifully decorated cottage, equipped with everything you could ask for.Tastefully decorated throughout and very cosy and comfortable. Well worth a visit"
