I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very clean, and the recently updated rooms are modern and well-maintained. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from the Malecón—we enjoyed walking there every evening. The hotel has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to relax. What we liked was the peace and quiet of the hotel. swimming pool very well kept and so handy to have it right there outside your room. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant didn't have many choices and needs more attractive and delicious food. Over all it was a great hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this hotel. The rooms are large and clean and the common area is exquisite. My husband and I were able to walk to coffee every morning and dinner at night. The hotel is located in a very safe and quiet part of town, easily walkable to many different restaurants. We cannot wait to return!

Good value, good location

Pros - clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice pool, few minutes walk from the water and less than 15 minutes walk to Malecon. Quiet neighborhood. Cons - internet is mediocre in the rooms and non -existent by the pool or restaurant so no laptop work by the pool. You will also have to walk 10 minutes for bottled water or beer/wine etc.

Great hotel for the price

I found this hotel for a quick trip with friends to La Paz. The hotel is a fraction of the cost of some of the other hotels that are right on the beach even though this hotel is only 3 small streets away from the Malecon (about a 5-7 minute walk). I booked two separate rooms and when we arrived (around 930) the front desk was very welcoming and was able to let us check into our rooms since they were ready. The rooms were huge and had two very comfy queen beds. The rooms were extremely clean (clean floors, walls, and blankets smelled good) and were simple (small closet, dresser, and table). We had a balcony in both are rooms which were a nice touch). There was a good working AC unit and toiletries in the bathroom. The only con was the room did not have a fridge. The property has this cool open space in the middle with a large pool that was extremely clean and they cleaned every night. There’s a restaurant on property with good food and drinks.

Checking was a mess. The "regular girl" was out and sub had no clue about our reservations for 4 rooms. Took a very long time, she let us in but has to "check" w regular girl tomorrow. A mess. Property is NOT like photos, dirty, pool not clean, restaurant closed. Rooms are clean but no blankets just sheets and coverlet (that's hard and uncomfortable as a cover). badly needs updating. Tiles are loose and coming up concrete permanently stained. Grounds are pretty shabby.

Stayed at the Hacienda Bugambilias for 10 days in early December '24 and enjoyed everything about this place! Very authentic, the staff were great and took care of our every need. Good food at the restaurant and slept great every night! Nice and quiet with off street parking! Highly recommend this Hacienda!

Great hotel! Very old but well maintained and very clean. Restaurant on property which is convenient. The only complaint would be the internet that was very slow at times causing tv to freeze. Overall it was a great stay

Great pool amazing location

Great quiet location, beautiful pool, nice rooms. Things to improve... Overall cleanness could be improved specially on sheets and covers. The 9pm curfew should be stricter, two nights we had a party night. The restaurant opens too late to make it on time to any excursions.
