The room was great, and so was the view. The only downside was that there isn’t a front desk area to check in or ask for help. Upon our arrival a security guard pointed to my name on his phone, left for a few minutes and brought back a key. We stayed for 4 nights and no one came to the room to ask if we wanted our sheets or towels changed. Besides that, the restaurants food was also good, however on our third day I get very sick from a breakfast we had. I am more than certain it was the eggs (if you’re coming from the states be aware, dairy products are not pasteurized out here) overall though I say the experience was a 4/5 for our first time here.

We had an excellent stay with my family at Hotel Mirador Plaza in San Salvador, the spaces were clean, well maintained and the beds and pillows very comfortable! The staff was fantastic, always kind and ready to serve with a smile. I can’t recommend this boutique hotel enough, if I ever find myself back in San Salvador I’ll be staying here again. Thank you to all the staff, cleaners, reception and staff at the restaurant for your excellent hospitality!
