I only stayed one night, and wasn’t able to enjoy the trails, but this place is gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond in every way. Also, the rooms are affordable snd very spacious! The room I had would have been great for a family of 4. This would be a great way to enjoy Costa Rican trails without even leaving the hotel grounds. I did also get a massage and it was fantastic.

The property is beautiful, very glad we came outside San Jose for our first stay. It is a little expensive (dinning) but I think a lot of places in Costa Rica are.

My partner and I enjoyed our week stay at the Studio Hotel Boutique. This property has a very cozy, warm and artistic ambience - sculpture, paintings, sketches, lithographs are generously displayed. Breakfast has the traditional Costarican & continental on offer. Staff were excellent across the board. Located approximately 30 mins. away from the downtown/central hustle & bustle of San Jose, Studio Hotel offers a suburban respite after a day of sightseeing & adventure. The only negative we encountered was the bedding in the room. Bed linens were pilly & somewhat scratchy; pillows were lumpy & offered no support whatsoever.
