La Marquesa National Park. Aerial view of the Salazar Lagoon, a place where the people of Mexico City usually go for family outings on weekends with their families and friends.
A short trip from Mexico City, La Marquesa is the perfect place to escape the big city and simply enjoy a bit of nature. Be sure to try the blue corn tortillas, the freshwater trout, and some rabbit, too. The food is the main draw to the national park, but you can also hike, go horseback riding, ride a quad bike, or go ziplining. You need a car to get here so you can either rent one from Mexico City or hire a driver from beside the Zocalo. #troveon
