"The hotel was so clean, I didn’t have my room cleaned as I wasn’t there long and I requested do not disturb but I had fresh towels and toiletries and the rest of the hotel was immaculate. I used the shower next to the luggage room before I left in the late afternoon and that was also modern and very clean. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming - helping me with my Spanish ( I only know short phrases ) she was very attentive and I can imagine she would go above and beyond for others....

The food is average, but interestingly, the all-inclusive deal does not include drinks at lunchtime or dinner. Not even water or soft drinks. Breakfast includes juices and water. The WiFi internet is abysmal, with a lot of drop-offs. Rooms are meant to be non-smoking, but visitors do smoke on a balcony, so the balcony door needs to be shut to avoid smoke...

"This place was great value for money. A short €1 bus ride to lots of bars, restaurants nice beaches. Very friendly staff and the grounds were well tended. Didn't get any maid service during our stay and I thought it was a bit cheeky to have to pay for sun loungers. "This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."
