"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. "Great location. Is perfect location to start out from whether walking, by train or metro and after a day of sightseeing, being beside the main station is a bonus. Being beside the shops in the station, which are open on Sundays and late into the night, was also very convenient. We were on first floor and while there was some street noise it wasn't an issue for us and we slept well. "
