Great place for a family

We stayed here with our 3 kids after we couldn't find availability at one of the resorts in the area for the size of our group. The home is in an easy location to explore Arenal, everything was as described and the hosts were very attentive and responsive.

First time in Costa Rico and La Fortuna

Really enjoyed our stay in La Fortuna. This house is at the edge of the town. Property was well equipped and we enjoyed the outdoor dining area. There are many interesting restaurant in LaFortuna. We went white water rafting - it was great.

Arenal

We had an excellent day at this location. It was extremely spacious, with three bedrooms and more than enough room for the entire family. Shower temperature was great. The kitchen had just about everything although we weren’t able to find silverware, but it really didn’t make that much of a difference to us since we were eating out during our three day stay. It was very centrally located and close to all the restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place in a cool little neighborhood. The pool out back was a nice perk on a hot day. Place was clean and comfortable. View of Arenal is worth the price of admission.

Volcano views

We had a comfortable stay at Brisas del Volcan. The view of the volcano was perfect with morning coffee and the bird watching in the neighborhood was pretty great also. Town and shops were a short drive. We did not use the pool.

Fantastic house!

Very clean, so easy to communicate with the host, easy check in and great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The house was great! Fit our family of 6 well with enough space. The neighborhood was removed enough from the busy downtown area which was nice but was still only 5 minutes away from it. It was great! We'd stay there again for sure!

Very spacious

The property was quite spacious and accommodated our group of four. In fact, there was an additional bedroom that we didn’t use. It was wonderful to have a nice kitchen and balcony.

Awesome stay

We have a great stay. This place is completely safe as there is a road next to it but not that busy. Beautiful view of the Volcano which was a plus. Things were not that far. We mostly took Uber. Place was nice and big. Everything supplied was good, I would just recommend the owner to put better quality soap, other than that everything else was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic view

Great house, with lots of room, sleeping space and bathrooms. The deck is wonderful. We spent lots of time up there, bird watching, taking pictures of the volcano, playing games. Only thing that could be improved is the safety of the stairs, they don’t have handrails and the material makes it hard to distinguish stair edges. Since living space is upstairs you can’t avoid using them.

The place was amazing! Beds were great! Kitchen was very well stocked ( including coffee, tea , candy and spices) Second floor patio was delightful!!! All three bathrooms are very nicely done! Only downside is that it is in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood! The security cameras, wall surrounding the house and the electric gate made us feel more comfortable about the area. And yes, we would stay here again! Thanks for being great hosts😎

Wonderful stay

Myself and three friends had a great stay. Check in/out, all communication was speedy and easy. The house is modern and very clean. There was tons of room. We appreciated the huge balcony and a well-appointed kitchen (every small appliance you can think of), but no dishwasher. The neighborhood is in transition, with lots of development surrounding it (we found it a bit noisy with other properties under construction but this will be relatively short-lived and no fault of the owner). Overall, a great stay!!

Costa Rican adventure..

We enjoyed our stay here, the home was spacious, awesome balcony with volcano view. Awesomely designed bathrooms, with good shower pressure. Beds were on the firmer side, which is great for some, but not for all. Had enough room for everyone, we only used the bedrooms downstairs. Neighborhood felt safe, people were friendly. It was located near to some of the activities we had planned. You would def need transportation to get to downtown or other restaurants etc. We did experience a bit of stress the morning of arriving. We hadn't yet heard from the host with the address and checkin info. But due to no fault of his own, he had a personal emergency and was able to give all the info we needed, and was available via WhatsApp if needed. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was tiny and above ground - something I didn't expect - but was clean and the kids liked it nonetheless. After we checked out is when the problems started. He tried to charge us 50.00 USD for 2 towels that he said we stole. First of all, we didn't steal any towels and didn't even have room in our bags for the stuff we purchased. We explained this to him and he would not relent. He kept trying to charge us a ridiculous amount of money for 2 towels! I'd like to give the place a good review and I would have had the owner been reasonable. Who steals towels from a BNB while on vacation? We could have purchased cool vacation-themed towels if we were that desperate.

Modern, clean, and convenient

Our party of five (two adults, plus our kids ages 19, 17 and 16) stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the layout and amenities. It was clean, well appointed, and we enjoyed having 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. We also liked the secure gate. The deck was large and a great place for eating and relaxing. We even had a sighting of a large iguana in the top of a tree from a 2nd floor window. The location is on the eastern edge of town among other homes and rentals, a few minute drive away from the craziness of the downtown area. Other than a couple barking dogs and a neighbor who loved to sing :) , the area was quiet and had a great view of Arenal (though it was cloudy during our stay). It’s probably not walking distance to the downtown area, though. This place works well if you have a car or can get rides to your destinations. The property managers were very polite and responsive. It was nice that we had two contact persons, so we felt like it increased our chances of getting an immediate response. The battery on our door lock went dead right before we left for a zipline excursion. I reached out early in the morning to them, they responded right away, and they had it fixed by the time we came back. *Tip: Find Epicos fast food and bakery nearby for delicious, affordable food!

We had a nice stay at this house, convenient to La Fortuna. We had 4 people across the 3 bedrooms and everything went well. The home was well prepared, the hosts were helpful, and everything went well.We spent most of our time in the area away from the home, so it was mostly a place to sleep and have coffee and a smoothie in the mornings, and it served its purpose well.

We loved it. Awesome in every way except 1. The shower Temp could not be changed and at the shortest setting it was just barely warm enough to not be having a cold shower. Turn up the heat and this pla e is a gold mine

Modern house with great view and facilities

Best property we stayed at out of our four rentals during our trip. AC in every room, nice patio with a great view of the volcano (if you get a clear day), and three bathrooms with two showers and a tub/shower. Definitely felt like a newer home. We traveled with a decent sized group and had more than enough room in the house. The property is just outside La Fortuna with a breakfast place and small market within a short walk. Downtown La Fortuna was probably about a 20-25 minute walk away if you don't have a car. The distance was appreciated to keep things a bit quieter. Host made things very easy for us and we were happy to find things like a baby gate for the stairs already in the house.
