"The hotel is half way through a refurb so reception and breakfast are in a portacabin. We booked in for 2 nights but the the keycard failed after 24hrs, the aircon didn't work on the second evening either, breakfast was missing basic items like butter"

"Very fancy shower room but no shelves for shampoo and soup inside and hand shower just drops on the floor. Also no free bottles of water. Location is very good. There are no bar or restaurant in the hotel."

"Easy to find, plenty of parking and in a quiet location. The building is shared between it's elderly residents and paying guests. Keys to the rooms were in named envelopes on the front desk. Spacious, clean room with balcony and well equipped kitchen area."

"The owner was welcoming and friendly; the house worked because we were family but interconnecting bedrooms would make it a bit odd perhaps for larger groups. The outside space is good; the inside a bit split up - but the weather was good so this didn’t matter."

Spectacular location for group trip
"We visited Chateau des Louteaux for my partners 40th as a group of 20 adults (mainly couples) and it was an amazing stay. To start the photos do not do the property justice, it's truly breathtaking! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space as well as group activities and dining. ..."
