It’s a beautiful apartment and we cannot wait to come back. The outdoor porch is huge. You can sit out there be still have plenty of room to hang/dry your swimwear. The kitchen area has an oven/stove, full fridge and seating area with enough room for two people to easily exist in there at the same time. The bedroom is spacious- enough to fit two chairs, two side tables and a vanity. There’s also plenty of drawers to unpack all of your items. The bathroom is awesome because there is a also a bidet and a washing machine in there. Absolutely loved this place!

Good location
Comfortable room, with kitchen and washing machine. good location with markets and restaurants nearby, close to beautiful beaches. Room was cleaned every day. They also organized a shower for our last day, so we didn’t stink on ferry and on our way back home;P

Nice relaxed place
Very good and cozy. The only complaint I have is that they started asking for payment after we’ve checked out even though we’ve paid at the location. Tried to take money from several cards which I was able to block. Then they found the payment and asked for forgiveness

Very peaceful place, walking distance from the center and the port. Very clean room, very spacious, all the staff is super friendly. We spent a great time there. I recommend!

Clean and affordable!
It is very close to the jetty ferry so you can get here easily even without having to ride a bike. The kitchenette is nice and clean and I especially loved the small washing machine! Perfect for rinsing clothes with fresh water after a long day at the beach.

Great location to beaches and restaurants. Staff is really nice and helpful. The villas are spacious and comfortable with beautiful gardens outside. There's everything you need. You get a welcome drink at check-in. They have take out and bike rentals, too. Awesome place!

Good stay and nice flat
It was a flat with all the necessary facilities. It is a spacious flat so there is enough space for two. The place is quite close to the jetty which is quite convenient.

We loved the location of the property, you can easily walk from a ferry. Check in was very smooth, rental bikes were delivered to our door within 10 minutes. It was nice to sit on a patio in the evening.

A/C is only in the room, which doesnt cool down the kitchen area, didnt work well. The property is far from the reception. Everything especially kitchen supplies looked very old and dirty.

The aircon is only in the bedrooms as the kitchens all have big sliding doors at the front leading to the balcony and an additional back door. We have found over the years that fresh air circulating in the kitchen has always worked well as most guests like to have the doors open whilst cooking. Our room rates at present are very reasonable and would have to be increased if aircon was put in all the kitchen areas.The rooms are cleaned daily and the kitchen equipment has all been renewed in the last 4 months. We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us and that the 2 minutes (max) walk through the gardens to reach reception was too far. Kind regards Orchid Team

Great hotel in a very active area of La Digue. Don’t miss a chat with Marston, if you don’t get to know him you’ll be missing a big part of Seychelles. Good internet connection in the rooms and there is a supermarket next door

Easy to find, nice people, very clean and well presented apartment. Cleaned and bed make up every day. Equipped with everything you could need. Did bike rental at a reasonable price. Close to the ferry Jerry so easy to walk to. Very good value for money on an expensive island

Comfortable and affordable
stayed at Orchid Self Catering the end of 2018. Orchids is a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal, which is in the little town of Posse which has a Dive shop, bank, a couple of bars, police and souvenir shops. The self Catering villas are behind a restaurant. It is NOT on the water but is only 5 minutes away from the sea. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Severe beach which is a place to snorkel. There is a small supermarket next to the restaurant. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of a very small refrigerator with a tiny ice box. There were shower amenities like shampoo, razer, and plenty of towels. Also a clothes washer. The shower got warm, not hot. I did like the location, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The apartment had internet. The bedroom had air conditioning, a safe, and a ceiling fan. There was no noise through the walls from the attached villa next door. There was a small seating area in front. There were a couple of small hiccups. No one met me at the ferry which they said they would do. The refrigerator was not getting cold. The technician said it was fine. The ice in the ice box would not freeze, food in the main refrigerator was only cool. I complained next day and it was replaced. Bicycle I ordered did not arrive and room phone didn't work. These problems were corrected. The reception staff was friendly and tried their best. Even with these small problems I liked the location, and found the place comfortable. Happy Travels

No availability after paid booking
We booked to Orchid, but they informed us there was a mixed up with Expedia (hotels.com) so they don’t have any room for us in Orchid but arranged for us to stay at sister property Chez Marston, and providing free breakfast. While not desired, but this is a good effort on the staff.

Such a great find
Such a great place. If you have the chance do not miss the opportunity to stay here. Staff is outstanding and able to help you with whatever you need. Very welcoming and take the time to show you the apartment and the local area (even provided maps) The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need including a full gas stove kitchen and cook ing utensils. About 50 meters from a nice quite small beach and about 45 mins walk to one of the nicest beaches in the world. Small convince store nearby with limited food as well as food truck.

À éviter
Mauvais séjour dans cet établissement. L'appartement n'était pas propre, vieillot, mais cuisine fonctionnelle. De plus, le logement est mal insonorisé (porte communicante entre les chambres, nous dormions avec les voisins pour ainsi dire). Autre détail à noter, les logements sont situés juste à côté d'un poulailler avec des coqs qui chantent à n'importe quelle heure du jour et de la nuit (je connaissais le coq qui chante au lever du jour mais pas celui qui chante toute la nuit). Sans exagération, la fréquence de chant était 0ar intervalle de 10mn. Je précise que nous venons de la campagne et connaissons la vie de la ferme, mais pour se reposer ici c'est impossible. Rajouter à cela une literie inconfortable, nous n'avions qu'une hâte, quitter ce logement pour nous reposer (dommage pour un voyage aux Seychelles...). Enfin, le service client est également mauvais. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre pour être moins proche des coqs. On nous a dit que ce serait possible le lendemain de notre arrivée et on nous a donc demandé de préparer nos valises pour que les femmes de chambre fasse le changement. Celui-ci n'a jamais eu lieu. Si vous le pouvez, allez ailleurs et profitez vraiment de vos vacances (du moins de vos nuits)

Preis Leistung war sehr gut. Es hatte einen grossen Kühlschrank und zum. Selber kochen fand man auch praktisch alles. Die Unterkunft war genug gross und hatte auch eine Waschmaschine. Die Unterkunft würde weiterempfehlen für Menschen die nicht grossen wert auf Luxus geben und mit charme eine schöne Zeit haben möchten.

Bra lägenhet, rent och fräscht. Det som drar ner betyget är receptionspersonalen, kändes som man störde när vi checkade in eller frågade om något. Bäst var mannen som hyrde ut cyklar och som skötte barbequen, mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående!

Sehr nah zum Hafen gelegen, man kommt gut zu Fuß zur Unterkunft. Fahrräder zu guten Preis mietbar Waschmaschine vorhanden Guter Preis nettes Personal - Steinharte Betten. Holzbrett als Lattenrost. - Man hört alles von den Nachbarn, da die Wände sehr dünn sind und es eine Durchgangstür gibt - Ab 4:30 fängt der Hahn an zu krähen, da direkt nebenan eine Hühnerfarm ist - Hunde drehen draußen durch - Kücheneinrichtung sehr alt - Küchengeräte auch sehr alt - Toaster nicht nutzbar, da der Stecker nicht passte - Küchenschwamm sehr alt - Kein Salz, Pfeffer vorhanden. Salzstreuer und Pfeffermühle sind leer - Frische Handtücher gab es während der vier Tage Aufenthalt nicht, obwohl eines verdreckt war (wir achten drauf, dass wir diese über mehrere Tage benutzen) - keine Handseife - Fotos der Dusche entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit. Alte Duschkabine, Bidet war kaum zu benutzen da der Hahn defekt war (Abzug verrostet)

Mycket bra läge med närhet till butiker och restauranger. Från jettyn ung 10 min gångavstånd. Prova förbeställa gratis shuttle med upphämtning och avlämning vid jettyn. Det fungerade utmärkt för oss. Hyr cykel av hotellet för scr 100 per dygn. Lägenheten i gott skicka med bra och modern kyl, frys och mikro. Gasspis av äldre modell och som vi aldrig använde. Bra städning, vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Enda nackdelen mycket lyhört mellan lägenheterna om man har otur få en hårt festande granne. Annars mycket lugnt och tyst område. Väldigt fördelaktig kostnad per dygn jämfört med de flesta andra ställen på ön. Rekommenderas och betyget är en stark fyra.

Aikansa jo elänyt
Pienet paritaloasuto, jossa yövyimme, oli periaatteessa ihan mukava. Asunnon yleiskunto ei kuitenkaan enää ollut kuin tyydyttävällä tai heikolla tasolla. Äänieristyksiä ei tuntunut olevan laisinkaan. Lisäksi pihapiiri aivan asuntojen läheisyyttä lukuunottamatta oli epäsiisti.
