I enjoyed the accommodations very well, room was nice, grounds were well kept. I actually left some clothes behind and realized it 2 hours later while traveling back to Georgia. I called the hotel, told them what I'd done and they gathered the stuff up and shipped it to me. Very grateful.

Very close to highway, loud at night and early morning. The beds were very uncomfortable, squeaky and old. The towels need to be replaced, not soft at all and really small in size.

We had to look for a last minute room since the hotel we originally booked was full. I am glad we booked the Hamptons after experiencing unprofessional service at the hotel we originally booked. Checking in at Hamptons was easy and smooth. The clerk was respectful and helpful. The room was clean and breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Even though it cost us more than we originally planned, I'm glad we stayed at the Hamptons.

There are three dining options that are great, diverse and closeby (no need to drive). We requested towels and trash removal etc with the front desk at 8 am and they never came. It is frustrating to come back at the end of a long day when housekeeping doesn't do those things, especially after requesting.

My only With my stay is that when I went to make a cup of coffee in my room, I pulled out the coffee maker from underneath the TV and it was complete dust. It’s obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in months, so I opted not to make a cup. Everything else was clean, but not being able to have a cuppa coffee in my room was a disappointment.

They allowed a loud group to gather outside our window until 1:30 AM. The rooms are very sound proof. The furniture rattled every time we move around the room. They could do something about that. I felt bad for the people in the room below us because they must have heard that every time we walked. Also in the around noon when I stopped in to possibly check in early the clerk was very rude! That is possibly the most upsetting thing of all. It costs nothing to for them to be nice. When I checked late at night the young girl was very nice.

This Hampton Inn was more basic than most. We didn't figure out the shower until after we were dressed the day we were leaving. Could only get cold water if you turned to all the way to hot. Then figured out that you just have to turn half way to have a warm shower. One of the queen beds in the room was "broken" like the mattress itself was defective - I almost rolled out the bed when i first got into it. It should have been replaced after the last guest checked out. Housekeeping could have done a little better job cleaning the corners in the shower and bathroom. Plus 2 "white claws" were left in the room refrigerator. Otherwise good place to stay, close to a ton of restaurants in Onalaska, we would stay again now that we know how to use the shower! :)

Everything seemed fine upon check in until I started using the room, specifically the bathroom. It looked clean at first glance but then I started to notice hairs that weren’t mine all over the shower, and strange stains that almost looked like dried blood on the bathroom door! I’ve already spoken to front desk about it and they said they’ve had problems with their housekeeping staff. Not really reassuring. Pool was average, hot tub was not very hot and not very bubbly. Also whoever was above me was stomping so loudly it was hard for me to sleep. I had to call front desk twice (after 10 pm which are supposedly quiet hours). If I had known it was so noisy I would’ve stayed at the downtown La Crosse location, which I am at now since the Onalaska location was sold out. Given the price I paid, paid way too much for this room and expected better being a Hampton. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past, and that one was one of the worst. Downtown La Crosse is much better, and staff is much more friendly.
