"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!! "

The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. "L'hôtellerie est un vrai métier et c'est exactement ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé au Relais de la Poste à GOURDON. Le chauffage n'avait pas été enclenché de façon à ce que l'on rentre dans une chambre douillette. Certes il y a une télécommande mais encore faut-il prendre possession de la chambre quelques heures avant d'y dormir. Dans la salle de bains chauffage également au moyen d'une télécommande, sans notice et qui a priori fonctionne en minuterie. Donc mieux vaut se lever au petit matin...
