"Great, friendly, helpufl staff and the breakfast was pretty good. The location is perfect being a 10 minute walk from the train and 5 minutes to the town center. The internet isn't super great, but functional. "

"The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to the area in the future. Thanks "

"My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. "We spent two weeks at this hotel. The staff were brilliant, always helpful with a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. The rooms were well cared for, breakfast was a wonderful choice and to sum up, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bayeaux and the surrounding region."
