"Clean room, very friendly staff and all round good hotel. Dog friendly at €20 a night and car park at €20 per night. Plenty of on street parking at this time of year 😀"
"very good, clean and tidy, carpark just next to the apartment, nearby have supermarket and beach. Nice and relaxing balcony. You just need to bring your shampoo and bath, everything is there for you. "
Magnificent villa with private pool, 3 bedrooms, 2SDB, WIFIFREE
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay with our family. The only downside was the boiler, which left us without hot water. Our host William fixed it quickly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, on the day of departure the same issue happened again. A cold shower in the morning sure wakes you up Our host was very easy to reach and shared lots of great tips about the area. It’s a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Just a 20-minute walk to the beach along a lovely, safe path — perfect for a morning coffee on the boulevard with a beautiful view of the harbor. We’d love to come back to L’Escala!"
"This is a great place to stay for the price. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the shower curtain, which had a lot of mildew. The breakfast was excellent, much better than I had imagined it would be, great selection and coffee to order. My only complaint was that the Wi-Fi would not connect in our room, but all in all this is a great place to stay at a budget price."
"The bed was comfy. Sadly nothing else was good about this apartment. It lacks basic amenities such as soap and curtains. We were kept awake all night by a broken down fridge fan that wouldn’t stop making noise, and then kept awake in the early hours of the morning by the sunrise as there are no curtain on one side of the apartment. There is no parking available, its residents only, which we were not warned about. There is also no lift and we were on the top floor with heavy luggage. Would not re book. "
House in perfect condition, quiet area 750m from the beach, close to supermarkets.
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first villa holiday and it was excellent, we was met at the villa by Gemma and although she doesn’t speak much English and I speak even less Spanish she gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and using the universal hand signals she showed us around the villa then left us too it, I text her a few times during our stay and she always replied, we knew she was nearby if needed but she was never intrusive. The villa itself is amazing, it has everything you need and is really spacious, the pool is not massive but it’s ideal for a nice dip and a cooldown, the villa is in a very quiet neighbourhood and it was so peaceful and relaxing not having to fight at 6am for a sun lounger, there is plenty of areas around the villa to sunbathe and also plenty of shade for when the sun is blazing down on you, the nearest Aldi & McDonald’s is 5mins walk away, the Aldi has everything you need including fresh bread in a morning, the main town is 20mins walk away, there is some nice restaurants in the town but definitely recommend the THAI restaurant it was great. From the main town the old town is another 25mins walk around the headland or catch the land train for 2euro, the old town is beautiful with some more Fantastic restaurants. It’s busy in the town at night, but it revolves around tapas and drinks, one thing we did miss was just a sports bar and maybe some live music but didn’t spoil the holiday. All in all 10/10 holiday thanks gemma"
Villa Gemini: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, garden, swimming pool, pets allowed
8/10 Good
"Villa Gemini is a nice property. Our party was myself, my son and girlfriend and baby, other son and girlfriend and other teenage son. The beds were firm and comfortble and we had enough space between the kitchen, bedrooms and outdoor area to be together and to have our own time. Outdoor grill was great. The large trees next door provided good shade in the morning. The pool area was great. We were greeted warmly and settled in no time. It was a heatwave and we soon realised that the advertised A/C was just one unit in the living room which functioned only when you kept the outdoor area access door right next to it closed. The bedrooms had no A/C and we were provided with one additional fan when we asked. We ended up buying another fan from the supermarket which is now at the property. The 4th bedroom is a garden room and bathroom access at night is not very convenient. It was also a glass box and got extremely hot.The fridge wasn't very cold and we were all ill at different times during the week. Not sure if this was from food here or eating out.The listing mentions bikes, and there were several at the property but very rusty. Some didn't have working gears or brakes and all had flat tyres. With the property being a little way out from the coast we were relying on bikes to get out and explore. The owners brought us a pump and another bike. Managed to get 2 bikes working ok but weren't able to get out as a group, as we had hoped."
