"The home was beautifully restored, and the decor was airy with a beach theme. The hosts were lovely and accommodating and were extremely helpful in guiding us around in the area. It's a nice touch to have a choice for breakfast either homemade (for a charge) or you get a generous voucher to use at three local eateries. The beach is a 15 min walk away, and you can also drive/uber if you don't want to walk. The beach is lovely with a residential boardwalk. The town is two blocks away as is the Bel Mar train station. You can also walk to the marina where there are lovely restaurants for waterfront dining. We took the train to a concert on the Asbury Park boardwalk which was only two stops away. If you stay here, you can easily take the train or uber over to Asbury if you want more vibrant nightlife or music events. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable, we stayed in room #4. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the porch and the rocking chairs. Five stars all around. "

"We had a lovely time and Chris was incredibly responsive. We were only there 2 nights but it was a great location. Parking can be a little tight but we did have 4 cars and we all managed to be on the street. Street is a dead end and about 1/2 mile from the beach. Quiet but around the corner from a very popular spot. Nice surprise was the outdoor shower, especially since the house is only a 1 1/2 bath. Would definitely book again. "
