Spacious cottage for 10 on the lake

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and spacious log cabin. There are sleeping places for 10 people, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook.
The large lot borders the shore of Kyyjärvi, which has its own lakeside sauna, rowing boat, and grill are available in the summer. The shallow beach is kid friendly. You can go around beautiful Kyyjärvi and enjoy fishing.
In the winter, you'll enjoy the spacious plot, indoor sauna, and wood-burning fireplace.

The space
The spacious log cabin has 2 large bedrooms (Bedroom 1: 160cm bed. Bedroom 2: 120cm bed and 2 single beds), kitchen, dining area and living room (with sofa bed - 140cm), indoor toilet, shower and sauna. Spacious covered glass deck with seating groups. You'll also have access to a TV and free 4G internet connection. Bedroom 3 is in a separate building across the driveway from the main house. In the building you can find a 160cm bed and a sofa bed (2 single beds) and a wardrobe. This building is suitable for all year round due to electric heating.

Kyyjärvi is more than 11 kilometers long and 3.5 kilometers wide with a good amount of fish. In the summer, you'll get a rowing boat with life jackets and fishing poles for your use. After rowing, you can enjoy gentle steam in the lakeside sauna and take a dip in a clean and clear lake.

Other things to note
The nearest grocery store is about 3 km away; the Paletti shopping center in Kyyjärvi can be found: Marimekko, Pentik and Iitala Outlet stores, Sale grocery store, pharmacy, and Alko (off-licence).
The town of Alajärvi is just a 30-minute drive away where you can find several shops, including S-Market, K-Kauppa, Lidl, and Tokmanni. The town celebrates Alvar Aalto week at the end of August/early September.
There are nature trails nearby, and the 22-hole disc golf course is located in Harsukanka's outdoor recreation area with winter skiing trails and sledding hill. Harskanka's outdoor area is located about 700m south of the center of Kyyjärvi (about a 5-minute drive). Also it's only about 30 min. drive to the ski resort of Saarijärvi.

The log cabin is located on a private road on a plot of more than 13,000m2, so there are no neighbors immediately next door. Very peaceful surroundings. There is no toilet or shower in the building where bedroom 3 is located. Guest will need to use facilities located in the main house.
