"Super location (as long as you like a little solitude) with cracking views. Lovely clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage that you looked forward to returning to after a busy day. Not a lot in the village amenity wise but the pub is nice and is doing takeaway food during the current restrictions, so at least you don`t have to cook if you really don`t want to. "The cabin is beautifully situated on a hill with stunning views on Loch Long. No other noise than the little streams, wind and birds. The cabin is dog friendly, comfortable, spacious, tastfully decorated and well equiped. The owners provided a warm welcome and came to meet us for a chat just before we left. The walk into the village is just over 1km, either along a hilly route, which is quieter, or along a level route, where you walk right next to a busy road. "Just off the roundabout over the Skye bridge this is a fantastic base for travelling around Isle of Skye. We had a twin bed garden room which is situated around the side and to the rear of the main house, this would have been helpful to know in the welcome email giving you the access code and room number as would have saved time trying to locate our room in the main house. In the main house is a communal lounge and breakfast room offering complimentary cereal boxes, porridge pots, cereal bars and yogurts which can also be taken to your room to be consumed. In our room we overlooked a roughly grassed playing area for kids to play football, with nets provided, but saw a deer with her 2 offspring playing around whilst mum was eating berries from the hedgerow. Another plus was the available parking both to the main house and garden rooms "
