Welcome to your dream home with a wonderful view of the Dukuduku National Park. If you are lucky, you may see elephants, gazelles, water buffalo or other wild animals from the terrace.
We have built the house with a lot of heart, artistic ambition and spiritual input. You can watch the sunrise from one terrace and the sunset from the other. A pond and our flowers attract many butterflies.
Both floors are connected by internal staircases, but also have separate entrances. The furnishings are simple and practical. The 2nd room is slightly smaller, making it ideal for couples or 2 children or individuals.
Our service water comes from our own well. You can buy drinking water or we can show you a public spring in St Lucia from which you can draw water free of charge. Canisters are available. A solar system powers the light and fridge. There is also an Escom connection. We have deliberately decided against W-LAN. But any SIM card with data from cell-c, Telcom. Vodacom or MTN has very good reception in all weather conditions and is cheap to buy.
There is a small "Ndumba" on the site. This is what the locals call an ancestral home. You are welcome to use it for meditation. If required, ask for the key. A family from Mozambique with three children lives on the land in an outbuilding. Admira will be happy to do the laundry for a small donation of your choice. Petros is happy to help with various questions about the house.
You will also find a large fireplace, an open kitchen and barbecue facilities on the property. A trampulin is available for use at your own risk.
The garden is managed by Admira. You are welcome to feast on our fruit and selected herbs.
Your dogs are welcome, as long as they are child-friendly.
2 small, very child-friendly dogs love to visit us. If you don't want this, or are travelling with your own dog, please let us know in advance. Bullet and Lilly will then be kept away.
There are 2 national parks in St Lucia: Dukuduku and CapeVidal, which leads directly to a beautiful beach by the sea. The beaches of St. Lucia are characterised by their diversity. The famous river is a bird and animal paradise. The oldest national park in South Africa, Hluhluwe, is also not far away. Whaling trips and turtle tours are offered depending on the season. Hiking, fishing, horse riding and cycling tours are possible all year round. The climate is usually mild even in winter.
Spend the evenings in one of our hammocks and enjoy the sounds of the African bush!
