"This was one of the most incredible experiences we had in Japan. The staff and service level are extraordinary. The 8 or 10 course meals at dinner and breakfast were an unbelievable experience. We traveled with young kids with varying degrees of adventurous eating and the staff was able to prepare dishes that were more western (mini sausages, fries, sunny side eggs). "We had a wonderful stay and like to thank the staff and the chef. We stayed for three consecutive nights which is obviously not usual for this hotel which is normally used for the restaurant guest. "It was surprisingly comfortable and attractive. Also quite functional. I definitely think about coming back to this place next time I be in this area. Meantime you have to know that the property is not staffed after 7 PM or 8 PM and you have to check in by unlocking the key code provided by the owner. Still it was very efficient."

"A beautiful place and a real honour to stay here as a westerner. Robes and amenities were provided and the baths were excellent including an outdoor area. Very helpful and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. There was even a mini stamp rally around the building which was great for us and our teen child to explore. The building interior was like a maze with beautiful objects and resting places all around and overlooking the garden."

This time, really enjoyed the pure stream bath it was very warm and a comfortable place to chat with my husband. The food was delicious and healthy with many flavors and unlimited hokuriku rice!
