"We had a lovely 3 nights in ALTAMARE which has recently been renovated. The room bathroom could’ve been cleaner and the bed was hard but reception staff brought up a duvet which helped. The view from our balcony was beautiful and we had a whole day at the pool with barely anyone there!!!! The bar needs to stock up on drinks as there were no cider or Prosecco which was disappointing so I drunk Baileys which made up for it. I’d definitely stay again for a night or 2 but probably no longer!!!"

"Staff were very friendly and organised our travel to the bus station for us. We only stayed one night but wish it could have been longer. Note - there is a lift which will take you down to the sea front, which we hadn't realised, so ended up taking the stairs to the side of the hotel!"

"The housekeeping always kept the room clean. We never had to call for them to come clean the room. It was always clean when we came back from wherever we went. Buffet and breakfast was great. The staff was very accommodating and very polite and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view of the harbor on the 6th floor. And we actually went to the bar our first night here just to relax a little and the bar was great on the 7th floor. We will be back"

"Pluses and minuses: Pluses: Clean room with beautiful view of the sea with a small balcony to watch the sunset and drink coffee. Location is great only a few yards from the beach. Good breakfast with reasonable price. Staff are polite and friendly. It has the amenities that a beachfront hotel should have such as a faucet near the hotel door to wash your feet that is full of sand and racks in the balcony to hung up your wet swim wear. Minuses: Bathroom doesn’t have ventilation or outside windows. Room Coffee and creamer are very low quality UNDRINKABLE. TV is just a decoration useless. It has 5-6 channels."
