If it's your first time travelling during the COVID-19 outbreak, you'll notice a range of new rules and regulations in place. Follow these tips and make your escape to Kuroshima go off without a hitch:

• Find out the restrictions and rules in both your origin and destination. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so check in advance.
• When you go through airport screening, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Those who refuse to wear a face mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the terminal.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now allowed in your carry-on luggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll have to remove it from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• To reduce handling during screening, put items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping your food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open your bag for inspection.
