The location and everything was great. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. The only reason for the 4 stars was there are six bedrooms and only two had a TV so had to buy one for people to use in one of the rooms.

This house is perfect for a big group. We had 7 adults, a 13 year old, a 1 year old and 3, 5 year olds. We never felt too on top of each other and had our own space if we needed it. The walk to the beach is not bad at all, though I wish the city would put a crossing signal at the stoplight because that intersection is busy. The direct access at the end of the street meant a straight shot to the pier and beach. Also there's plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. A bonus for us was the Tropical Sno cart right before you get to the beach. The interior is a bit dated, and the carpets could stand to be replaced, but that didn't really matter in the long run. Overall this was a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Word of warning though about the Fort Fisher Aquarium if you are travelling starting in 2026! The Aquarium is closed for a multi year renovation so if it's on your list of things to do, you should remove it.

We absolutely loved our stay! Ten adults, representing three generations, gathered here to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. It was a special family weekend, and this condo was a wonderful place for us to spend it together. The condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The three-floor layout allowed everyone plenty of space to spread out. The VRBO photos were very helpful when we were making our decision, and we were pleased to find that the property was just as pictured. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we cooked most of our meals at the condo. There were multiple sets of dishes, plenty of cookware and bakeware, and lots of serving pieces. We also appreciated the generous supply of starter amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc). And we really enjoyed the porch! The location was another big plus. The beach and pier, restaurants, and ice cream shops were all just a few blocks away. We enjoyed the weekly summer artisan market, where we purchased some beautiful, hand-crafted souvenirs. The convenient location also made it easy to explore Fort Fisher and Wilmington and take the ferry to Southport.Although the condo is on the main road rather than a side street, it was very easy to get in and out. The neighbors in the adjoining side of the duplex were friendly, and the host was responsive when I reached out. All in all, we had a wonderful experience. We would absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again!
