As advertised. Very cute little place 1 block from beach. Check in progress simple, communication with owner excellent. Be sure to bring all your beach gear and a wagon if needed. Shibumi and backpack chair makes for a quick 6 min walk to the beach. Kitchen fully stocked.There is no dining table but is a nice bar top with 3 chairs. Definitely recommend if a small family.

Kure Beach is the best!
Love this quiet beach town. To be fair, we visited in late March but I’m guessing it’s often just as mellow. Fantastic place to stay, 1 block off the beach. So much light but also very cozy for our one rain day. Filled with all the amenities listed on the posting. It was an extra bonus to be close to the center of town. We were able to walk to restaurants and the boardwalk swings— especially nice with a good book. Some other recs: Soulflavor in CB Breakfast at Ocean View Celtic Creamery A walk around Fort Fisher We hope to return!!

Cozy long weekend getaway
Great place for a long weekend getaway. My parents, my sister, her granddaughter and I stayed three nights. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bathroom can get a bit in demand with four adults and a toddler but we managed. Comfortable and open living room kitchen design.

Good Value
The value is good for the area. About 2 blocks to the beach and easy drive to shopping and fantastic Dining in Kure Beach and Carolina Beach. There is a Publix close for reasonable priced groceries (as reasonable as it is now). No doubt, I'll be staying at Latitude Adjustment again.

Perfect family stay!
Amazing, quiet location just a block or two from the beach! Just the right amount of space for our family of four, with a great outdoor area in back. We were able to walk to the beach during the day and to the pier for dinner at night. Host is friendly and prompt in communication. We would happily stay again!

Kure Beach Cottage review
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Kure Beach cottage for a week and overall it was a great trip. A little feedback on the rental... Pros - location is great, a quick 3-4 minute walk and you're standing in the sand and looking at the ocean. Communication with the owners was excellent. They are very quick to respond and easy to deal with, I really appreciated that. We had a minor issue in that our toilet seat was broken and while it did take a few days to get it fixed because of the holiday weekend, the owners kept us informed and got the issue resolved as quickly as possible, even offering an extra day on the house for the annoyance. A/C was great - every room was as cold as we wanted it. Cons - the advertisement does say that the cottage is used by the family also. I interpreted this as that the family comes when the cottage is otherwise unrented...not the case. While I anticipated having the property to ourselves, we had a whole family staying above us over the weekend. I'm certain that they tried to be as quiet as possible, but kids are kids and they run back and forth and up/down steps. It's just loud when you're underneath them. My recommendation is that if you're looking for peace and quiet, maybe double check to see if the upstairs will be occupied at the same time. If you don't mind it, go for it...they gave us as much space and privacy as we could ask for and weren't loud beyond just normal, everyday living. If you're looking for a place to yourselves, maybe book for a different time or look elsewhere. The shower needs some TLC. Plenty of hot water and pressure but in general it's just tired and worn out with pieces coming loose. Overall a good trip. Thanks.

Fine stay, property is as advertised
Decor is nice, location is great, very clean and updated. I feel the property is a bit overpriced for a small lower duplex—you can find entire houses in the same area for quite a bit less. But if you're clear on what you're getting and you're okay with the price, it's a fine choice.

Great place to stay!
Latitude Adjustment is a gorgeous island style beach house. It's located far enough from Wilmington and Myrtle Beach to keep you out of the congestion, but close enough to give access to either. Only a few miles from Fort Fisher, the NC aquarium, and the ferry to Southport, there is plenty to keep you busy. The beach is only a few blocks and has public access and parking. The Kure Beach Pier is only a couple of blocks north. I highly recommend Latitude Adjustment if you plan to stay in the area!!

Stayed at this quaint property with kiddos and had a great time. New Year’s Eve fire works at Kure beach were awesome. The location is within walking distance to beach, pier and restaurants. Within minutes driving distance to aquarium and Fort Fisher. Owners replied quickly and were very helpful and hospitable. Will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at Kure for years, never used VRBO.. this location was walking distance to all that you needed.. had a slight glitch when we arrived but English took care of it quickly and made sure we were happy! Would stay again!!

Nostalgic beach home with decor that is warm and relaxing when you open the door. All the essentials and more were provided. Location was close to the beach with easy access. Quiet neighborhood. Covered patio in the backyard provided just enough privacy. The owners were awesome to work with. If you want a beach rental away from all the retail businesses yet have them easily accessible (2-4 miles away) you will love Latitude Adjustment.

This place was perfect! We were torn between going with Kure beach or Carolina beach and we were so happy we went this direction. The owners were fantastic, communication was great, and they had lots of good tips on in places to go and things to see. We wouldn’t hesitate to return here! ☺️

We Would Stay Again
Great little place close to the beach (a four minute walk). Nicely decorated with plenty of beach decor. Outside showers to wash the sand off after a day at the beach. Also has a cabana out back to sit and relax in. Very comfortable property. Gave it three stars in listing accuracy because photos of the property are not up to date. Would have been nice to know that a Keurig coffee maker was on site but there was no mention of it in the lisitng nor was it visible in the kitchen pictures.

Great Spot For A Weekend Get Away
This house is a great place to stay. Close to the beach, and within walking distance of the pier. Simple yet very functional. The outdoor area behind the house is a nice place to just hangout. We ran into a few of homeowners while we were here, they clearly care about this place. Would rent again.

Great long weekend getaway!
Kure Beach is one of those few beaches left with a real home-town feeling! The house was in perfect proximity to the beach, it was bright and cheery, and had everything we could possibly need (down to a cheese grater). The homeowner was pleasant and easy to contact and provided specific instructions and suggestions. We would not hesitate to go back!

The house was great! I've rented several houses in the past and we (me & the spouse) were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the house was! Usually, you're lucky if you get a frying pan and a some utensils. This house had everything we needed to actually cook during our stay (they even gave us coffee filters). The location was great - less than a 5 min walk to the local beach access and the neighborhood was very quiet. Highly recommend.

A fabulous house!
The house was extremely clean, and we loved all the fun decor. It was an easy walk to the beach and local restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor grill and seating area were great for family meals together. Hope to return soon!

Perfect beach getaway!
We had such a wonderful time at Kure Beach. A perfect cozy beach house for our family of four! The decor was so well thought out and the house had everything we needed down to cleaning supplies, toilet paper and a well stocked kitchen for meals. The recommendations of where to go and eat were spot on and the proximity to the beach was a dream. Returning home relaxed and recharged.
