Staff are very friendly and hotel is well maintained to a good standard. The bed can be quite hard if you’re not someone who prefers that style. The public bath is a lovely touch but can get crowded at busy times. A lounge on the top floor has views over the city and countryside beyond. A very good hotel in this area.

This hotel has a perfect location—very close to Kurashiki Station and within walking distance of the Bikan Historical Quarter. There are many great bars and restaurants nearby for a late-night meal, and the area feels very safe. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Excellent value! Given the competitive price, it’s almost unbelievable that it’s so well located - walking distance to the train station and also a comfortable stroll along the shopping arcades to the Bikan Historic Quarter. Room is clean and comfortable, I slept very well.

Great overall. Keep in mind no acccess to the onsen if you have tattoos and skip their breakfast... The worst we had in Japanese hotels (not much variety and low quality). The rooms and amneties are great! Bed ok, pretty firm. Onsen, pool table and gym are good!
