"Lovely quiet place with wonderful gardens and pool. Clean and large rooms, great staff, generous breakfast. Next to 3 in one spa for fabulous massage and a good coffee shop right next door. Great location. I cannot stress how lovely and accommodating staff is. "

"Nice and comfy room. Beautiful garden with many beautiful birds and other wildlife.
Close to the beach. Plus is for the distance to Galle Road (which is very noisy).
The dinner was good, but far from great. The curry’s are way to salty. Same as for the breakfast (don’t try the chocolate pancakes).
Beautiful place and very friendly staff.
- Big minus for the hotels own landfill that you see if you take a walk outside the fences. They should really clean that up. Not ok!

"Staff were fantastic, but the room was rather basic for the price point. The room also had few amenities, such as no safe or minibar/fridge, which again would generally be standard at the price point."

"The Moose is such a special place! The host Ashan is a wonderful man. I felt so welcomed and safe and taken care of my whole stay. Room was big, immaculately clean, hot shower. Owner was also always on hand for questions and helped out with taxis etc. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Was sad to leave. "

"Lovely boutique hotel around 15 minutes drive from Hiriketiya. Staff were really friendly, the room was clean and practical (although we would appreciate more storage space). Very quiet away from the main road so you won’t hear cars beeping"

"Such a lovely hotel, situated on a quiet, beautiful beach. All staff here and at the sister hotel a short walk away were amazing, with a special mention to Rosin and Nedmina (sorry I couldn’t quite remember your full name!) We loved being able to swim in the sea just outside and walking along the beach. A great, comfortable base for exploring the South Coast. Lovely food too-eating on the beach was a real treat!"
