Second time staying here, THE place to stay in Kunming. Cheap for what you get, you get more than what you pay for, and the breakfast is excellent. Gym is good too, for a hotel gym. Will stay here again, so should you.

For what I paid for, it’s a great deal. It’s simple but comfortable enough. The famous lake is in front of the hotel, and it’s not in the center with the lots of night markets, so you can enjoy quiet time.

We stayed at Grand Park Kunming for a little over one week. Its clean, safe and convenient for our family. The only concern that we have is the Non smoking room we stayed in still has very strong smoking smell. Other than that, we have enjoyed our stay in the Hotel.

We had a pleasant stay, upon arrival they upgraded our room, away from the noise along the stretch of road under construction. This property is very near to a park with a lake with many people taking a stroll and doing various exercises. City centre area is within 10-15 mins walk.

The hotel is close to Green Lake Park and Yunnan University. Easy walk to lots of restaurants and bars, too. The hotel was modern and fairly clean compared to other hotels I have stayed at in China. Most of the front desk staff spoke reasonable english and were polite when I tried to speak Mandarin.
