"Dies war einer unserer schönsten Urlaube. Von der Terrasse aus bis ins Meer nur 1 Minute zu gehen. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit genügend Freiraum für alle. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 3 Teenager. Jeden Morgen begrüßten uns 6 Schildkröten die im Garten bleiben. Frische Kräuter um selbst zu Kochen oder zu Grillen. Ausgesattet mit Allem was man benötigt. Restaurants und Cocktailbars mit fairen Preisen fußläufig erreichbar. Supermärkte genügend vorhanden und auch sehr nahe. Bäcker gleich um die Ecke. Ruhiges Reiseziel, mehr Einheimische, als Turisten. Meiner Meinung nach besser als man es sich laut der Anzeige vorstellen kann. Sowohl Bezahlung unkompliziert als auch, dass wenn ich Etwas von der Vermiterin brauchte immer sofort eine Antwort da war. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert!"

"An exceptional place for a multigenerational family visit. Granny had her own studio downstairs with an accessible shower and easy access to the swimming pool for exercises. Teenagers paddle boarded, swam, cycled, played tennis and football. Younger kids trampolined. So useful to have a central kitchen and eating area. The five two bedroom flats were clean and well-equipped. Our nervousness before arriving was around the reviews of Ploce the town, which is ugly by anyone’s standards: but it makes no difference, being over the hill and invisible, with the glorious Adriatic coastline at Gradac only 15 minutes away. A super holiday for all of us: my only ask of Pero (who is endlessly helpful) is for a toaster for breakfast!"

"Mala Duba is a hidden gem of Makarska riviera, tiny village 20 mins from Makarska, ideal if you want peace and quiet. The property itself is a typical Croatian apartment house; fit to description. The room was cozy (read tiny at 19 m^2) but well sufficient for two adults. Kitchennette suited more for reheating than any sort of cooking but that’s to be expected. The apartment was lovely in pictures, but quite worn out despite seemingly recent renovation (cracked shower glass, damaged bathroom cupboards from water, faux leather peeling off on the bed…) and the owners “invested” into IKEA equipment, which I have nothing against, but the spring mattress was a really bad choice. Other than that, no real complaints on the equipment; all fit the description and worked well for us. We stayed for 8 days and what surprised us is we asked for fresh bed sheets and towels half way through and we were told it’s an extra charge. No complaint there, we agreed to the charge, yet it was surprising given the length of the stay. One thing that really bothered us though - the house has a ground floor restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating; indoor is non-smoking, outdoors they have 3 tables (small terrace) right in front of the property underneath the balcony of our room and smoking was allowed there, with all smoke going straight to our room (A4). It defeats the purpose of having a non-smoking room entirely, which is a pity, especially when the second larger terrace also allows smoking."

"This was just what I wanted from a one night stay in Ploče. Great and convenient location close to shops, restaurants and transport, large clean room with effective A/C, friendly and helpful staff and an incredible view from my room. I slept in exceptionally well."
