The staff here are really helpful and friendly. This hotel is 5 minutes walk to Mutiara Damansara Metro station in a sheltered walkway.

We enjoyed staying in the spacious room with a good view. The best part is the walkway from hotel to the Mutiara Damansara Metro station which is the Metro leading to Central station and all the major shopping centres We loved swimming in the infinity pool and watching the views from there.

Always love to return back for staycation

My son and I overall enjoyed our stay here. Room and facilities though has signs of exterior & interior run down but for us as long as bed is comfortable, aircond works fine cold and bathroom clean with good shower & toilet that is good. Plus breakfast buffet was great too with variety of local and western dishes. Swimming pool was not very clean as how it used to be back then and it's shower / change room does not provide shower gel & shampoo like before which is a bit of nuiscance since I was not aware so did not pack any when going to the level 3 (gym & pool). But sorted that by just showering at my room's bathroom before checking out.

Solo Staycation

Overall it has been nothing short of comfortable and lovely stay at Royale Chulan Damansara. I have been a returning guest for many years. The hotel property has shown signs of aging but nevertheless I believe have strived always to keep up with it's service and hospitality every way it can which is achievable only by excellent team of staffs. Well done and keep it up!

Rooms are spacious. Hotel is conveniently linked to The Curve which is a rather big mall. Close to Pertaling Jaya where the good food is. Room has all the standard facilities you would expect, everything was in working order. Furniture is a little worn and TV is around 29" which I think is rather small for the size of the room. All in all a pleasant experience.

The room needs updating, bedside lamp was all broken, upholstery on the furniture was old and torn. Paint on the front door was all old and patchy, this hotel has the potential to be so good but it’s just so outdated. Staff are all friendly.

The Bad Wallpaper room 418 is peeling 2 it may have grand lobby alike but the rooms are the opposite 3. personal locker in room 418. not working. 4. carpet abit smelly 5. lack of handtowels 6. tv is small versus the room size wall. 7. old hotels. 8. lift lobby alittle smelly The Good. 1. close to ikea 2. quiet area

Nice environments but he wall paper and some area a bit damaged due to wear and tear. I can imagine how nice it looks when the hotel was new. Generally if you want quiet, safety and walking distance to MRT then this hotel is great for you.

Impromptu stay

Overall ok but there is only 1 body towel. Usually 4/5 star provide hand and face towel but this hotel doesn’t. Bed is soft. Overall, it is a pleasant stay.
