Booked and paid a room for 3 nights, checked in late on 3am and the staff informed me no rooms available. I was so frustrated as Expedia stated guarantee room reservation for late check-in. Some more I paid for the room also. They transferred me to another old building which the hotel inside is under their company also. Next morning I insisted to change back to the hotel that I booked which is new. At first they refused to let me check in and suggested I might as well continue my stay in the old building. I demanded to get a refund, after that only they willing to transfer me back to the original new hotel I booked. The staff blamed me for not call to inform for late check-in. But I think they should reserve the room for the guest since we paid for it, somemore Expedia also stated guarantee room for late check-in. The price is cheap so I cannot blame too much. Suggest to Expedia if Hotel cannot guarantee room for late check-in, might remove the promise statement line to prevent confusion.
