Bad. Worst hotel stay that I had in Malaysia. Have cockroaches; TV without functionable remote control and noisy due near to tram track. The most unacceptable event was the front desk took my ID and Credit Card out of my sight to their main office for more than 10 minutes for the purpose on photocopying these documents for their verification purposes with my booking with Hotels.com. I am considering canceling this Credit Card to avoid possible scam transaction.
Not sure if they put me in the wrong room or not, but the photos of the room was great, the room wasn't the same. Obviously they hired a fantastic photographer. The standard price of this room, apparently, is $100AUD. It was dropped to $50AUD for the following day, however, I had a discount to $25AUD. In no world would I pay even close to $100AUD for this room. $25 is even pushing it. This is an old hotel where they put some decent furnishings.
Took 30 minutes to check-in, as there's only one reception guy and other customers were having problems. 15 minutes to check-out.
I don't mind staying in dingy, cheap, hotel rooms, provided that I'm expecting to stay in one. Problem here is that the photos look like it's a nice, classy hotel. In reality, it's a dingy, cheap, hotel room.
No a good experience. Room was not cleaned. Main entrance Lights was not working .
Worth thing I was asked to pay tourism charge as I showed Malaysian Ikad.
No water supply in the morning. Had to wait for 3hrs but still no water. Staff doesn't have courtesy to apologize or explain. Only give 3 bottles of mineral water for us to bath (only after we asked for it). Very bad service. Don't stay here. Totally not recommended.
The receptionist was not friendly at all and was really slow to process my check in.
The room however was great, clean. The showers were great. Not much hot water though
Poor service . I stay for 3days 2night . And no one come and cleaning my room . I sleep with messy room . Also on hotel.com shows that free parking . But when I cme they ask for pay rm5/day for my parking. When I ask why I have to pay . They said free parking for special request . Nonsense! How I know I have to make a special request on my booking when I find that they give free parking . Girl on receptionist also no manners and not friendly.
A simple hotel close to the center of Kuala Lumpur. Easy to go where you want and many small local restaurants nearby if you want to try local food. The monorail was running close to the hotel so if your room face that side it can be a bit noisy when the train comes. The breakfast was only Asian style so not really what I like in the morning.
The overall experience was disappointing. On the positive side, its well situated in walking distance from multiple train stations, had great Wifi I was able to stream HD movies, room size was good, general condition of rooms (at a budget room perspective) were good, AC worked well, and staff were always friendly and courteous. The problems however were plenty, out of my 8 day stay, house keeping only came *twice* and that was because I asked (had to ask for things over and over again), access card to room continually stopped working, breakfast buffet venue and food was abysmal, supplies such as toilet paper wasn't kept up, the first 3 nights I was put in a twin room when I'd ordered a king room. All pointing to a mismanaged hotel. I had to put too much effort into getting things that are just basic hotel services, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others.
We arrived at 11pm and immediately we wanted to leave.
The room was awful and the barhroom was very dirty. The blankets and pillows looked like not being cleaned. There was rubbish and hair on the floor. Cockroaches in the barhroom and dead flies on the wall.
The desk staff does not look at you when you want to talk to them. Very arrogant.
The area is very dirty and may be dangerous.
It is definitely the worst hotel we have stayed at in Malaysia.
This could be a very good hotel, especially for the price; clean and comfortable, close to the subway (elevated walkway if raining) and several good malls. Several local eateries or a nicer restaurant in another hotel close by. However, the website stated breakfast was included with my room rate (there is a breakfast-only restaurant), but the clerk said no. Showed her the website but was told have to talk to Expedia (my emails to Hotels.com about the breakfast were never answered). I originally stayed 3 nights, extended the booking another 7 (easier than moving); on the 4th night, the satellite tv stopped working and was never repaired. Even after I could hear guests in other rooms watching their tv, mine never started up again. Told the staff, they shrugged their shoulders and did nothing. There is also a private house across the street with a dog. On the 5th night, it started barking and continued barking day and night for the rest of my stay (all 6 remaining nights). Told the staff, nothing happened; spotted the tenants and went and talked to them (nicely), one guy told me to get lost. All in all, hotel is clean and comfy, staff friendly but service was bad, got very little sleep. Won't be staying here again.
