The historic mansion, also known as the “Haus von Harlem,” stands on ground steeped in history: Built around 1790 on the foundations of the former Greetsiel Castle, it continues to embody history, dignity, and East Frisian serenity to this day. The Attena apartment welcomes you with a spacious, open living area characterised by exposed beams, high ceilings, and thoughtful details. Here you’ll find a large double bed, a cosy sofa area with a TV, and a large dining table—ideal for long evenings, conversations, and shared meals.

A real highlight is the cosy loft, which opens up above the living area like a small retreat—perfect for reading, relaxing, or simply unwinding.

The fully equipped kitchen is harmoniously integrated into the living area and, in addition to everything you need, offers a charming cosy nook in the style of a box bed as well as a small counter for dining or enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning.

The private bedroom features a comfortable double bed and offers a quiet retreat. The apartment is complemented by a modern bathroom with a shower.

Despite its quiet location above the rooftops, you’ll be right in the heart of Greetsiel: The harbour, small shops, and numerous restaurants and cafés are just a few metres away and easily accessible on foot.

The Harlemsche Haus is ideal for larger travel groups who want to spend time together while still valuing privacy and space.

The mansion features three separate holiday apartments with a total of 11 sleeping accommodation. The complex is complemented by the neighbouring coach house, which features two additional apartments and a total of 5 beds.

This allows up to 16 people to stay together—spread across several independent living units. Whether it’s a multigenerational family, a group of friends, or a holiday with several couples, the Harlemsche Haus offers the perfect setting for a stylish, peaceful group stay in the heart of Greetsiel.
