It was a very enjoyable few days. The staff and food was excellent. The game drives were very good, and Fabian the guide, was very knowledgeable. We would come again.
Magical. Quiet, romantic, everything you need! Fabulous experiences and always meeting awesome people along the way. Food is great and great wines to choose from.
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Rhino Post Safari Lodge. Our guide, Vusi, was very fun and knowledgable and made sure we saw everything we wanted. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was endless and delicious. We did the sleep out and this was a great experience
The staff work so hard to make sure guests have a pleasant stay. The rooms are tended to twice a day when out on the game drives. You are welcomed back with a wet towel before tor are served breakfast and dinner. Afternoon tea was tasty! I enjoyed every moment there ana will definitely return.

Perfect for game drives, not for relaxing
In general a nice lodge but very focused on game drives. Limited service and possibilities if not on a drive.
Compared to 5 other lodges with lower price less standard. We also missed some kind of guidance/management, everything was on the ( nice) ranger. Most Africa-feeling as not fenced and no free walking in the evening.
My wife and I recently spent four nights at the Rhino Post and had a truly wonderful experience. We loved the small intimate setting of the lodge, since it only has about 8 rooms total. It is also an ecolodge and does a great job building the lodges into the existing landscape and provides opportunity for game viewing right from the comfort of your room. The staff was also exceptional.
Our feedback would not be complete with out many compliments and thanks to James, our guide, for seven spectacular game drives. James was a joy to be around and has a good sense of humor. He is passionate about what he does and is just as excited to spot animals as we were. It was nice to know he loves sharing the beauty of the Kruger with people from all around the world. While nothing is guaranteed in the bush, James was able to find the big 5 and dozens of other animals per day. My wife had a list of over fifty different animals from just one day that James took the time to point out to us. Cheers James! We look forward to seeing you in the future.
Location fantastic - right in Kruger overlooking a watering hole that is regularly visited by animals.
Kitchen staff are fantastic. Food is great, snacks plentiful. Cold drinks always available.
The tents are beautifully done, very tasteful. You do have a fan above the bed but this will only work when the generator is on, it can get v hot.
There a lots of reviews about Bernhard being a 'legend', we wanted to write a review that would help other people decide if this trip is for them. Bernhard is an excellent tracker & will find you animals. However, he will only take you to animals he wants to see. His style of guiding is very 'macho' & all about getting you so close to get the perfect tourist photo that it scares the animals, who then feel the need to charge you to protect themselves/ babies. This can be quite terrifying when it's a hippo or a rhino. On a day when he picked a terrapin out of the water and threw it on the ground to show us we felt he didn't respect the animals at all. After a group guest conversation where we all expressed a preference to see some giraffes/ zebras he did then take us to see some but acted like a petulant child saying 'I'm sick of zebras' over & over. If it's not on his terms he's not interested.
Amos his number 2 was excellent and very professional.
In summary, we saw lots of animals & had an amazing time, a brilliant location but with a guide who doesn't make you feel safe on the walks, who doesn't seem to respect the wildlife.
muy lindo lugar, debería tener wifi en las cabañas.
también mas información de safaris.
En general excelente, todos muy serviciales , desde el chef hasta el personal de limpieza
Rhino Post was a lovely experience. The food was exceptional and staff friendly and helpful. Our animal sightings were a bit slim but that is the luck of the draw.
It is an amazing resort at great location. Service is extra ordinary, they cater to any personal requirements as much as they can. We are vegetarians, chef asked every day for the dinner menu and prepared something vegetarian. Unfortunately, we needed some medical attention late in the night, Ella from the lodge took us in her car to see a doctor in skukuza which we really appreciate. Also, animals like rhino, leopard, buffalos (3 of the big 5) visited the property's water hole which was really cool
Short stay in between south African conferences. Everything was beyond what was advertised. Location is superb as was staff. Safaris are great - the 3 hour walking in the early AM - you are right in the mix.
Saw 4 of big five (no Leopard) White and Black Rhino and wild dogs.
