All good except hard to use the key lock box. Too stiff. Needs to be changed. Also the light in the main bathroom is out and the basin there almost blocked up.

Nice quiet place to relax. We liked how it was situated between Denmark and Albany, this made visiting the sites at both much easier.

We stayed in the sunrise cottage. We really enjoyed the stay, good accommodations for the price, blinds and some decor might need some updating soon but overall very good. The activity room and tennis court was a great however most of the table tennis balls were all broken but we found a good one under the couch! Overall we will definitely come back to stay if we come down that way again.

The cottage was like a holiday home, clean, fully equipped & quiet surroundings, excellent wifi & subscription of Neflix, Prime video, Stan & Kayo sports. The layout was spacious, well designed & very comfortable. We were also surprised by the welcome gift after a long day drive.

We had a lovely welcome with wine and chocolate. But this does not hide the problems of the property. The interior is unfortunately very outdated and run down. The dining table surfaces: holes and scratches. The carpets dirty and smelly. Sofas, chairs, kitchen ware… everything needs to be exchanged. It’s a shame as the place is huge and interestingly built.

PROS: Beautiful location Nice cottage and good set up Good amenities Awesome shower and bath Nice rainwater CONS: Hard mattress Place wasn't cleaned properly Super dusty and dirty and bugs galore inside Spiders, earwigs crawling in bed sheets and after we thought we had gotten rid of all the insects in the bed and room, when trying to sleep more spiders crawled on us and the next day found more earwigs on the bed. We were unsure how this happened as all the windows and doors were closed. Also got itchy and bites when sleeping If the insects don't bother you, it is really a nice place like a home, with the best shower set up I have ever used. But keep an eye on young children that no spiders or earwigs crawl on or bite them

Comfortable cottage in nice location
Stayed 5 nights in Sunset cottage. The single storey villa had a private verandah offering glimpses out to the beach. It was comfortably appointed ( not flashy), in good condition offering all one would need for a self catering stay ( could benefit from an additional medium size frypan) . Only criticism was the traffic noise from early morning to late afternoon from vehicles heading to and from the nearby beach. One gets used to it.

We booked last minute and would have preferred to be located between Denmark and Walpole, however once we arrived, we were quite happy with the location. 20 mins to Albany and 20 mins to Denmark with a national park behind you and an awesome beach less than a 10 mins walk from the property. Very happy with everything for the price we paid.

We had a very beautiful experience I have mobility issues I use a chair as well as mobility aids. We stayed in the Sunrise unit what a gorgeous clean unit. Surrounded with native plants a verandah with a sneaky view of the ocean even better we could hear the ocean. So happy with our stay we will be back thank you Deb & Greg 5⭐s

We were blown away by the unit, it far outweighed our expectation. It was roomy and well appointed. If we are ever looking for accommodation in the area again it will be our first choice.

Beautiful Cottage
The property was beautiful, very clean and well looked after. The spa bath was a great treat after a long day of driving. The location was perfect, with a beautiful beach just a few mins away. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cosy stay
Beautiful presentation of this very comfortable accommodation. We received a welcome hamper with lots of goodies in it. The stay was a lovely experience we will definitely be staying again. Highly recommend 🙂

The house we stayed was clean and all the equipments that we need were there. We played tennis, table tennis and pool table every night as the facilities were just next to our house. We enjoyed a lot! Good location between Albany and Denmark. We definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

Excellent except the shower
Place is clean and comfortable, with partial ocean view. The only issue is the hot water shower - boiling water intermittent with cold shower which is difficult or rather impossible to adjust! Probably thermostat faulty.

I loved the tennis court, bushes, natives, trees and many birds. Well equipped with washing machine, drier, two bathrooms and two bedrooms, full size fridge / freezer. Close to the beach and national park. My requests were promptly addressed. Welcome breakfast pack was great.

Loved the ocean views plus location to other towns in area, didn't like lack of cleaning as cob webs were clearly seen in house, also might be wise to leave spare globes with caretaker as 2nd toilet didn't work at all and lights in ensuite broke while we were there

The amenities, extras, location and surroundings were sensational. Family friendly no end, but also ideal for a romantic get away if so desired. Isolated away from any main road or town center, it is nestled close to a superb little isolated beach and amongst farm land. Room and grounds had everything you needed. Views off my balcony were so relaxing and incredible. View made my stay extra special.
