The hotel is right beside the central railway station and so ideal as a base for exploring. We arrived at the start of a heatwave and clearly none of the hotels in Norway are equipped to handle these conditions. Consequently the room was uncomfortably hot. This was not really the fault of the hotel and in all other respects the facilities and service were excellent

"Waaay too big for the facilities and services it offers. Has only two restaurants to cater the entire huge hotel so be prepared to wait. Gym/spa is packed and the lockers thus often quite dirty.
