Kim (proprietor) was a most gracious host and a great help to us during our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and unique. The food was 5 star. We had dinner 3 nights and each were exceptional! Breakfast (included with our stay) was delicious and started our day off right. Would recommend a stay and/or dinner to anyone looking for a ski in/out hyatta.

A delicious and very special multi course dinner made from locally sourced and home made ingredients paired with excellent wines. A small but beautifully designed room with its own sauna in a spectacular mountain setting overlooking a lake. This is the smallest hotel in Norway with only 3 rooms. If you are fortunate enough to have head chef Silver in attendance during dinner, you will learn a lot about how the dishes are conceived and prepared, as well as lots of interesting information about how ingredients are acquired. He is a delightful fellow!

Rolig og deilig

Et hotell med tre rom blir aldri slitsomt. God atmosfære og nydelig mat. Pass opp for å bli plassert på det innnerste bordet ved peisen, det er trangt og lite koselig. Perfekt beliggenhet, terrasse kun 2 meter fra bakken.

Great hideaway in summer

Great hideaway during summer. The bad things: not that much to do in the surroundings during summer, and some construction taking place immediately outside, but that will finish of course. If you look for a nice quite place this is perfect. During winter it's ski in ski out and quite busy. Rooms are traditional romantic. Ours had a nice bathroom and a small private sauna! Dinner excellent, made on local ingredients. breakfast very good too. All made by the Danish chef Jens. The view from the windovs and balcony is breath taking. You find Norefjell near Noresund outside Oslo. A little hard to find, take the small mountain road uphill along the ski area, almost to the top. There is a toll gate at the bottom that accept creditcards. At the top you find small signs for this perfect place.
