Stayed here with my wife and 15yr old son in a very good sized room. Had a mini fridge in the room which was rare in all the hotels we stayed in on our road-trip around Norway. But v handy to chill beers from the supermarket! Basic hotel but had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was v good and not a bad choice, including fresh salmon. Location was close to the centre and harbour area. We parked our hire car in the supermarket car park almost next door, although there is also free street parking between 7pm - 8am. Overall, I’d stay there again.

This hotel is conveniently located in the city center of Kristiansund. Restaurants are nearby as well as a shopping center and grocery store. The breakfast was amazing , the bed was comfortable and the view to the harbor was nice (except for the salt-water covered windows , which I’m sure are very difficult to maintain).

The toilet was not cleaned properly, it was clear evidence of previous use so not the best first impression. The staff was nice and helpful but we only saw one person on each shift which was odd and they seemingly ran the front desk and the breakfast/kitchen by themselves. No housekeeping in the weekend so we had to ask reception for towels/ toilet paper etc when we needed more.

Bsic hotel with basic amedies. Quite crowded breakfest area if you go later to eat. Silvefish at the bathroom was not that nice feature. Location of the hotel is perfect. Frindly staff.

Kind of disappointing

The staff was very nice. The hotel was pretty disappointing. My room and window was next to the loading dock for the coop next door. Every morning at 05:30 and evening until 20:30 hours deliveries were made. It was very loud and would wake me up. Also the bathroom was not useable for someone over 6 feet or 183 centimeters. Taller people are not able to properly use the toilet. The staff was kind but the hotel was disappointing for a Thon partner hotel. Would definitely not stay there again.

Esperienza negativa

Hotel nel centro di Kristiansund. Il voto negativo è legato allo staff. Parliamo in particolare di tre episodi: 1) all'arrivo mi viene detto che non avevo alcuna prenotazione attiva e vengo liquidato così, soltanto dopo essermi affacciato al monitor di lavoro scorgo la riga con il mio nome (il personale aveva in mano il mio passaporto) e lo faccio presente. Al che senza troppe scuse mi viene detto che effettivamente avevo una stanza prenotata e mi viene data la chiave della stanza, senza chiedere altro (questo passaggio è molto importante per il punto 2) 2) la mattina seguente siamo con la mia famiglia a colazione e ad un certo punto vengo raggiunto come un ladro da un altro membro dello staff, perchè si erano accorti che non avevo ancora pagato e necessitavano del pagamento (avrei ancora dovuto fare il check-out e quindi avrei potuto pagare in quel momento, avevo prenotato su hotels.com inserendo la carta di credito a garanzia, era difficile che sarei potuto scappare con una bambina piccola e tutti i bagagli da mettere in auto dovendo comunque passare dalla reception) 3) vado a pagare e chiedo copia della ricevuta intestata a me, considerando che avevo partecipato ad un evento di lavoro in quei giorni e che avrei potuto chiedere alla mia azienda il rimborso di parte del viaggio, e mi viene dato un foglio quasi bianco su cui non era indicato quasi nulla e mi viene detto che non si può fare altro senza mostrare alcuna empatia a forma di collaborazione.
