"Die „Villa“ liegt auf dem Grundstück des Konsum Hotels. Man ist gezwungen je Nacht 18€ Parkgebühren zu entrichten, da es in Oberhof Folklore ist jedes Grundstück abzusperren. Freie Parkplätze gibt es daher nicht. Das Zimmer war ok. In der 2. Nacht war allerdings kein Strom da. Ab 20 Uhr gibt es kein Personal mehr auf der Anlage. Also musste der Schein des Fernsehers reichen. Der ging noch. "

"Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."

"Ich hatte schöne Tage als Alleinreisender im Raum Arnstadt und bin im Hotel Goldene Sonne für fünf Tage gut untergekommen. Der Inhaber als auch die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hatten für die Umgebung immer einen Tipp parat. Für den aufgerufenen Preis fand ich das Hotel hervorragend.
