Such an awesome breakfast. Unlike anything I’ve ever encountered in the US or Canada. Super great staff, and such nice breakfast presentation and quality food. Room was great. Could have used AC and a coffee service in the room, but the breakfast made up for that.

This hotel is very clean and aesthetically appealing. This was one of the few hotels in Austria in which breakfast was included. The breakfast was delicious and served beautifully. The room was bright and clean, but did not have the typical in-room amenities such as AC, mini fridge, or tea kettle. For those traveling light, it is important to note that there are no laundromats in the area and the Expedia description indicating laundry services at the hotel is incorrect.

The hotel is charming. It's an older building and very well maintained. Nice decor makes it welcoming and puts one at ease. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet included fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses, marmalade and breads. Eggs were cooked to order.

Everything excellent including delicious breakfast buffet, plus a few vegan options at breakfast which was a nice surprise after other stays nearby! Clean and comfortable room Brilliant location for exploring the town Would recommend a visit to Winzer Krems winery and Durnstein town a quick bus ride away Curtains unfortunately not very good at blocking out light!

The hotel is in a great location and the service is lovely. We really liked the breakfast. Rooms are clean and wide, but feels like grandma's home a bit..

This is a family run hotel, and the communication with the staff (reception, restaurant) was excellent. Clean rooms, great breakfast. Nice base to stay for exploring the town of Krems!

Great for business travel
A great, clean hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. I was visiting Krems for business, and found the hotel suited my needs. The service was friendly, and everything in the hotel was as advertised. If you're planning on sharing a hotel room at Unter den Linden, be advised that the shower is visible to the rest of the room. I had one issue during my stay. There is only one iron available to all guests. I needed to use it, but someone else had it. I never was able to use the iron, which proved problematic for me.

Dear guest, thank you for your positive review. We have one room in which the shower is not separated from the rest of the room. This room is often used by young couples. Seems you got that room when staying at our hotel. It's not often that guests want to borrow an iron, so we only have one to lend to guests. Usually the chambermaids take care of ironing in the morning. We are happy that you liked your stay at our hotel and are looking forward to see you again in Krems. Great experience to stay at Hotel Unter den Linden
Excellent choice for visiting Krems if you are looking for a venue with a lot of character, very good condition of facilities and everyone being very welcoming. Big rooms with comfortable space for two guests. Great location between the university, the old part of the city and the train station.

Everything was very nice. An electric kettle/pot to make coffee in the morning would have been nice. No coffee till 7:15 am for a very early riser -- I carry my coffee and sugar.

Perfect location & lovely character
This hotel is situated just outside the main pedestrianised section of Krems, near a very pretty park with a gorgeous fountain in one half and a bandstand in the other. The hotel itself is full of character and the room was very spacious. It is also easy to walk to Stein from the hotel.

A Special Treat

Exzellentes Stadthotel in Krems. Die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer, das Haus ist insgesamt liebevoll gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist für ein Haus dieser Kategorie einzigartig, sowohl in Bezug auf Qualität und Angebot. Aus unserer Sicht war es die perfekte Wahl für einen Kurztrip in die Wachau. Eindeutig weiter zu empfehlen
