The property is small, but nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even serve your food in the room at 0 extra costs. The cleaning of the rooms needs updating. especially the bathroom did not give us a clean feeling . The bathroom needs also an upgrade. i would recommend the property :-)

If you like night life and loud music, this is the place for you.

My wife and I spent 12 days here in March 2017; there are things to like about this place and things not to like. The apartments are comfortable except that there are no screens on the front or back doors, so the place fills up with mosquitoes in the evening. If you close the doors there is no air circulation. The staff is friendly. There are twin magnesium pools, and an outdoor bar and restaurant just steps away. The rooms have porches from which to watch the sunset and survey a panoramic view of Kralendijk. This place is a hangout for the local Dutch population. Every Friday is party night at Hillside Apartments. The locals pour in for dinner, drinks and DJ entertainment from 6 - midnight. If you enjoy extremely loud music, then you will like this place. If you do not enjoy this kind of atmosphere, I recommend you stay elsewhere. We experienced two Fridays nights and a Sunday afternoon/evening of intrusive, loud music during our stay. The next time we visit Bonaire, we will seek quieter lodging.

For divers who want to cook their own food.

Nice pools, free parking with no trouble finding a spot, helpful staff, spacious two-bedroom apt, good bathroom and kitchen, excellent views from pool and balcony. Offers a different scene (near locals, not tourist/cruise garbage), walking distance to Church of God (pentecostal/charismatic/evangelical) (i.e. awesome Friday night worship opportunity with locals).

It depends

It depends what you are looking for. In the budget category - it is outstanding. In the Luxury category not so much. Here is a summary of the notes I made when I stayed there. Nice pool and outside area with comfortable chairs and tables (I was downstairs) and good Wifi connection. The TV was fine. You will need a car. BYO soap, shampoo, tissues. Note that the AC works in the bedrooms only and the door must be closed. I had a true apartment with a very complete kitchen/dining area (no AC - just a fan so it can get warm). There is a nice looking bar and restaurant. There is a supermarket within a mile (to the main highway and left a bit) that has a good restaurant takeout adjacent (ask for a menu - the large size is very big). The staff was very nice. It's easy to find if you are driving (go past the KFC towards Rincon and take a right at the Hillside sign). I would recommend this apartment hotel although I would have been much happier had there been AC in the kitchen/dining area.

De kamers zijn erg netjes, alle voorzieningen aanwezig 110v en 220v. De bar is ook altijd gezellig. Het is alleen wel ver van de zee en het centrum
