Stayed for one night on a road trip. Very nice old building with basic but comfortable rooms. Free wifi. The rooms have very thick walls so are very quiet at night.

Interesting cozy place, could use some improvement
The location of the monastery/hotel is pretty and provides a nice alternative to sleek, boring city hotels. The room is cozy, if sparse. However, two things could be improved: the automatic water temperature in the bathroom sink and shower and the breakfast. Most folks like to adjust their own water temperature but the water temperature is pre-set at this hotel in the sink and shower. Breakfast is adequate but uninspiring - boiled eggs, slices of cheese and cereal. Some jam would have been nice. And perhaps a toaster.

Nice Hotel.
Nice place that looks like an old castle. Great quiet place, very friendly staff. The only problem is an absence of an elevator. Beside that, everything was perfect.

I stayed here on a stopover what a fantastic find this hotel was I had stayed at a mix of various hotels incl some very nice 4 star hotels however this place won me with its charm service and general ambiance I would happily stay here for a holiday absolutely fantastic I had the best sleep and could find no faults thank you to all staff connected with this hotel for such a lovely stay and the price is fantastic

One of the best values on the continent.
A repurposed monastery, redone with generous EU funding. Everything is first class, including restaurant. Full breakfast, including eggs and sausage made to order. Beautiful countryside near same Vistula river that flows through Krakow. An outstanding retreat getaway. At about $20 per night, perhaps the best money for value proposition I have found in Europe, and I travel a lot. Here's the issue: They don't realize we don't know how to get there. Go to main Krakow bus station; buy ticket to Nove Breszka, about 30 minutes away. Several trips per day. Problem number two: we walked from the bus stop to hotel (about a mile); easy to find (not much else there and everybody knows monastery, but maybe that's not for you. So arrange pickup (they'll do it if you ask), or find some other way to get to hotel. But it's worth it. It's great and deserves patronage. This is the only perfect score I've ever given by the way.
