There is also a bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a sauna, large bathtub, sink, shower, toilet, and washing machine. In the hallway, you’ll find a coat closet and a storage room. On the upper floor, there is another hallway with a spacious built-in closet and an additional toilet with a sink. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a cot, as well as a bedroom with a single bed, a sofa bed, a TV, and a stereo system. The holiday home is furnished to a very high standard and is cosy.

Two parking spaces belonging to the house are available for our guests directly in front of the house. Additional parking spaces are located at the entrance to the small holiday home complex.
What can you expect?
A house in an idyllic location offering wonderful tranquility and unspoiled nature. This very beautiful, family-friendly complex of 23 Scandinavian-style houses features a children’s playground (approx. 100 m), a private swimming area with a boat dock, and a private boat mooring on the lake (approx. 250 m, about a 2-minute walk). Adjacent to the property is a wooded area with a boulder garden. A beautiful walking and biking path runs along the lake to Krakow (approx. 2 km).
Culture
Worth seeing in Krakow are the Old Synagogue, which hosts rotating exhibitions, and the Printing Museum in the Old School. From June through August, live music and dancing take place every Wednesday evening on the lakefront promenade under the theme “Music by the Lake.”
Sports Activities
The Jörnberg Tower (126 steps), located in the middle of the Kurwald—which was inaugurated in 2022 and features a roughly 3-km-long loop trail—offers a wonderful panoramic view of the water, forest, and meadows. There is also a Kneipp-style water treading facility, as well as balancing and climbing structures. A network of trails around the town, approximately 100 km long, is ideal for biking, hiking, and walking. A must-see for families is the historic swimming facility with a diving tower, water slide, and playground. In the summer, guided paddle and boat tours as well as nature hikes are offered, and for seniors, there are excursions by pedelec rickshaw.
For dining
Krakow am See and the surrounding area also have plenty to offer in terms of cuisine. The Nordischer Hof on the market square serves primarily Lithuanian cuisine. DAT RÖKERHUS is a nice spot for a quick bite; fish is smoked right on the premises. At the Seehotel (Restaurant and Café Milano), the menu features mainly Italian dishes. From the large terrace, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Krakow. You’ll also find a steakhouse (Rio Grande Brasil) in town. We highly recommend the “Zwerg” ice cream parlour. And for gourmets, the 1-star restaurant “Ich weiß ein Haus am See...” is a must-visit.
Points of Interest in the Area
There are two water parks in the area, in Linstow and Güstrow. Güstrow is also famous as the hometown of Ernst Barlach (museum) and known for its castle and nature park, which features many animals and an aquarium. Directly on Lake Krakow lies the Nebeltal valley, formed by glacial activity, which offers unforgettable experiences on a hike. Numerous lakes and protected heathland areas in the Krakow area are waiting to be explored and offer varied recreational opportunities with plenty of space for peace and relaxation.
