"Friendly welcome and efficient check in. Suite and hotel are immaculately clean. The style of the lounge and bedroom is different (mix of colours and patterns has the feel of 1974 :)). However all items were new and in perfect condition. Bathroom is modern, fully equipped (loo bidet, bath and separate shower ) It seems to be a conference /event venue. 15 to 20 minute stroll into the town centre. Would recommend I will return next time I am in Torun"

"On my last of three nights there was a party in the conference room behind reception. I went down to reception at 10pm (what I would expect to be considered “silent hours” in Poland) and said I could hear the bass coming up through the walls. The ladies were quite dismissive and said they’ll have the music turned down. It still hadn’t been turned by midnight and I had to go down to complain. By this time my cortisol levels were so high I had trouble sleeping even once the music had been switched off. Apart from this one incident everything else was fine, although the shower head and rail in the bathroom definitely need replacing."

"Nice location, very clean and pleasant overall. However, the TV did not work properly, there was no microwave, and although a bathtub was listed in the description, it was not available. "

"The location is ideal for history and shopping. The staff were kind and friendly. The room was a little dated and the walls were a little thin as we could hear the people in the next room talking. The building itself is lovely."

"All feels quite new and it’s a good value option. There are odd quirks everywhere such as the phone with the 100W LED that illuminates the bedroom day and night, the variable sound isolation, the restaurant tables that are inexplicably about a foot too high…. Service was variable, unusually for Poland. The restaurant attached has some pretensions and innovative dishes that are universally terrible, do avoid. "
